1 Chapter I: Heavy Duty

Our story begins in "Rykar", a small farming village on the upper side of the map, close to the border and is in Nano territory.

"Captain?" His subordinate called out to him. "You seem distracted." The mans name was Godric, a tall and slender man with bright long blonde hair tied into a ponytail, eyes that shone blue as the sea and soft facial features.

"It's nothing. I didn't get enough sleep, that's all." The captain replied, his name was Faust. He was only around 5 feet tall but his aura commanded respect. He had short black hair and dark brown eyes that seemed to always be lost in thought. "Report."

"No Bio activity readings within 100 meters. No sightings. Everything seems normal."

"Don't let your guard down. One mistake could mean your life."

"Of course." Godric looked towards the distance, they were flying in one of the Capitals sleath planes, there was a small island in the middle of the ocean and from far away you can clearly see the tall greenery which the island is surrounded in. "I just don't understand what they would want to do here."

"We're almost at the island, ETA 5 minutes." A womans voice called out from behind. She had long fiery red hair, sharp nose and a very distinct mole under her right eye. She wore thick glasses and a bow on the top of her head with a cute walrus cartoon on it. Her name was Mash, second-in-command, and also their pilot.

"We don't have space to land. Why don't we go ahead and get off here." Faust said as they began to make their descent into the thick forest. "Mash, open the hatch."

"Understood." Mash replied, the hatch opened from below and the captain was ready to jump down.

"Collect the plane on your way down." He shouted back to the two as he nonchalantly walked over the edge.

"Well... You heard him." Mash said, her eyes began to change, equations and such started appearing on it. This was one of the NanoTechs abilities. Their eyes have been modified so as to let them see anything they're putting their minds to. To them intelligence was the most powerful weapon and they harness this intelligence by using their nanomites to create, deconstruct and reconstruct objects around them.

While Mash was making her computations she was also making her way towards the ledge and as she stepped off, parts of the plane was disintegrating and following her down. She lightly hit the ground, softening her landing by creating small jets on the soles of her foot made from the materials from the plane. Not long after, Godric followed suit and while they wearing nothing but their uniforms before, now they looked like two mid sized robots. They made their armour from the parts of the plane which they deconstructed and reconstructed into new parts.

"Not bad." The captain said while looking at the two, a hand on his chin. "It looks bland though. I mean it's like you just put together a bunch of circles and squares."

"Will note to make use of other shapes as well next time, even though it would not add to the mechs overall power and/or usefulness." Mash said.

"Well, yeah..." "...but it'd look cool." His carefree way fits well with how he looks. When you look at him, you may see him as indifferent and non-caring but in reality he is very kind-hearted as well. "You two survey the perimeter, I'll go on ahead to the village and introduce myself. Send a signal if anything comes up."

"Understood." The two replied simultaneously.

They immediately went their seperate ways, Mash to the right and Godric to the left and they forced their way through the forest.

Faust then turned around and began walking.

He only took a few steps before stopping. "I should've taken some parts too." He sighed as he made his trek on foot towards the village.
