5 job

DING

"Congratulation, you are the first person to reach level 20."

"Calculating extra rewards."

"because of the insufficient nanobots in the environment, physical rewards can't be granted."

"All stats plus 10"

"Five free stat points are added to your account."

"You can choose your rewards (no physical rewards can be granted)."

"Wow, ten extra stats just for being the first to reach level 20. That's too much. And what's this choosing reward??" said Alex in astonishment.

In his past life, rewards were decided by the system, and no one could change the rewards.

They could still decide to accept integrated nanobots instead of their rewards, but changing it to any other form was impossible.

Alex ignored everything and decided to check the rewards.

DING

"calculating rewards."

After a minute, a list of rewards was shown to him.

"what??? How is this possible? This is simply too much." Alex said in astonishment.

"what is it, brother? Did you get something good too?"

"what do you mean? Did the system give you something?" Alex asked.

"it gave me five extra stat points and a list of rewards to choose from." Said Emily, Not understanding the magnitude of it.

"ok, read the list for me, please." Alex decided to leave his reward for later and focus on Emily's for now.

"It says:

1) 10,000,000 integrated nanobots

2) legendary job

3) unique stat."

Emily's rewards were just like Alex's but with a slight difference. Instead of ten billion points, he could choose twenty, and instead of a legendary job, Alex had the option of choosing a mythic job.

Alex had never heard of a mythic job. Jobs were ranked just like animals, with the exception of mythic rank (Common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary).

It had to be noted that, In his previous life, there were less than ten thousand people around the world with a legendary job. And Alex only got an uncommon job.

Sure, they could advance their job rank with hard work and unique rewards, but It was too hard.

But now, the system was telling him that there was another job rank? It was just too much for him to believe. And all these amazing rewards just for doing some quests and hunts?

'it should be because of all the SS completion rates,' he thought and then said, "choose the second one. Let's see what you get,"

Emily chose the legendary job without hesitation and read the results for Alex.

"it says that I have to choose between these categories:

1) mage

2) weapon specialist

3) warrior."

Alex patiently explained the categories, and Emily instantly fell in love with the mage category jobs and chose the first option.

"now it says to choose from these classes:

1) healer

2) Elementalist

3) summoner

4) beast tamer."

Alex again explained them, and Emily immediately chose the beast tamer class.

"Now there is a job called 'holy hatcher' with its description:

(The holy hatcher will be given a random egg of a legendary beast to hatch and can fight beside their best companions. The holy hatcher can also hatch up to five eggs.)."

"wow, a legendary egg right off the bat. I have never heard of a summoner that was even given a common rank egg from the start by the system. You are so lucky," said Alex in astonishment

"I know, right?" said Emily without even knowing what Alex was talking about.

"ok, read your stats for me, please."

"Emily Adams

Age:10

Blood type: A+

Level: 20

job: holy hatcher

title: _ _ _

skills: _ _ _

integrated nanobots: 5,824,235,035

strength: 27

agility: 30

stamina: 28

nano control --> mana 111

free stat points: 40," said Emily and then asked, "what is mana?"

"mana is the thing that lets you use magic," Alex simplified the matter.

Mana was actually the other name for nano control which activated after level 20. As for the difference and why it only showed itself after level 20, nobody knew.

When using "mana," a person could order the nanobots to do specific things and leave physical effects on the material world.

For example, if a person wanted to change the weather or make a lighting ball, the nanobots in the atmosphere would make a realistic hologram and simulate the feeling in the person's body.

At the end of the day, who defined "real"?

all the things we feel and can touch or taste are "real." So who says the fireball that can burn your body, Be it that it was only the nanobots in the surrounding that simulated the effect was not "real."

"Can you show me the egg?" Alex asked.

Emily said the word "egg," and an egg appeared out of nowhere in her hands.

The egg was the size of an ostrich egg, but the color was green with some straps of gold on it.

"wow, it's beautiful," Emily exclaimed

"what does it need to hatch?" asked Alex

"it says I need to feed it ten billion nanobots," said Emily

"ok, so we wait for now. I could give you the needed nanobots, but I have more important uses for them." After saying that, Alex left Emily and went to his room to choose his own job.

Picking the mythic job instead of the other rewards was a no-brainer. After selecting the reward, three options came into his view, just like Emily.

1) mage

2) weapon specialist

3) warrior

After choosing weapon specialists, another list of different classes was presented.

1) swordsman

2) assassin

3) shield bearer

4) berserker

5) magic fighter

Alex wanted to choose the swordsman class as it was the class he was given in his previous life. But the last option, "magic fighter," made him hesitant.

Classes with the characteristics of two or more categories were very rare. Alex knew of two people in his previous life that had such a class, and they both could erase cities from existence.

Alex hesitated a bit. Sure, a magic fighter seemed like a powerful class, but with his experience from his previous life in swordsman class, he could accomplish many things.

After more thinking, he decided to take the risk and chose the magic fighter class.

When he selected the class, he felt his brain was set on fire and started shouting at the top of his lungs.

He dropped down and started banging his head against the floor.

The pain was unbearable. But the worst part was that he couldn't even faint.

He had to endure all the pain and couldn't even faint? What miserable fate was this?

Emily, who heard her brother's shouts from upstairs, ran to his room and was frightened to see his brother banging his head against the floor as hard as possible.

She didn't even think before running to him, wrestling with him, sitting on top of him, putting her feet on his hand, and grabbing his head with both hands.

With almost thirty points in strength, she was nearly as powerful as three strong grown men, but she still couldn't subdue her brother.

Thankfully, after ten seconds, Alex stopped and fainted on the spot.

Emily watched her brother, drenched in sweat, lying on the floor like a dead man and was frightened to death.

"Alex, Alex? wake up; you can't leave me like that. I need you. I don't want to lose you too," she cried, but no response came.

She did everything she could to wake him up to no avail. She hit him, splashed water on his face, and was about to punch him in the nuts when Alex slowly opened his eyes.

"wh-what happened….?" He said and fainted again.

Emily sighed in relief and dropped beside him on the ground.
