6 job 2

after two days of sleep, Alex finally woke up in the middle of the night, finding his sister slipping right next to him.

Emily had never left his side except for food and bathroom. All this time, she was worried sick, but no matter what she did, she couldn't wake him up.

Even after two days of sleep, Alex was still tired, so she just laid down again and slept without even checking his status window.

The following day when he woke up, he found out that he was alone and Emily wasn't there. He went down to the kitchen and saw Emily making breakfast.

"good morning," said Alex while yawning.

Emily got scared before looking back and seeing her brother greeting her.

She ran to him, hugged him, and cried her eyes out.

"what happened, Emily? Why are you crying?" said Alex in a worried tone.

"you were screaming when I got to you. Then you were out for two days. I didn't know what to do. Whatever I did, you didn't wake up. I was so scared, and …" Emily started rambling.

Alex was taken aback and almost shouted, "what? two days?"

Then he thought about the pain he experienced, and his head hurt again just by remembering the torture.

"Emy. Everything Is ok now so don't worry. I'm here now." Said Alex and pat her on the head before sitting on a chair in the kitchen.

"status," said Alex, and his information came into view.

Alex Adams

Age:17

Blood type: A+

Level: 20

job: mystical sword mage (the knowledge has been transmitted to the user's brain)

title: first in history (everything related to the system you do as the first person in history would give you a hundred million integrated nanobots.)

skills:

active: hollow sword(level1), wind blade(level1)

passive: sword dance(level1)

integrated nanobots: 9,000,000,000

strength: 65

agility: 65

stamina: 65

nano control: 125

free stat points: 50

"How can this be? I can clearly understand the way of the sword. Did it transmit the information directly to my brain? And what's with these three skills? I even got a passive skill as powerful as sword dance. How about the extra integrated nanobots and stats …." Alex was mumbling to himself when Emily hit him hard in the head.

It had to be said that with her superior strength, if Alex were his old self, his head would have cracked wide open.

"you asshole. You scared me. And now you are looking at that stupid shit? What was that? Why were you screaming in pain? What happened?"

Alex was stunned for a second. He never expected his sister to act so harshly. She was usually a sweet and quiet girl.

'she must have been scared a lot,' he thought before explaining about different job ranks and his own job and his theory about why he was in pain.

As a ten-year-old, Emily didn't understand most of Alex's explanations, but she was happy that Alex was treating him like an adult.

"ok, but promise me that would never happen again." Said, Emily

"I promise. I believe that it was a one-time thing." Alex nodded before continuing, "now let's go out and see what I can do with my skills."

Alex grabbed a knife to use instead of a sword, and They went out of the house and to a clear area near the lake.

Alex told Emily to stand at least ten meters from him and then took a deep breath before activating his first active skill, hollow sword.

The knife seemed to stretch until it reached the length of two meters and formed a beautiful sword.

The sword was very peculiar; with the center empty, the blade seemed to surround a hollow oval shape.

But with only a glance, Alex could tell that it was as sharp as a sword could get.

Alex raised his hand and slashed the sword down while using his second active skill, wind blade.

A blade of wind came out of the extension of the sword and moved at an unbelievable speed before hitting the water and exploding on the lake's surface.

Alex was astonished "are these really just level one skills?"

Then he swung the sword a few times to see how his passive skill worked.

As he thought of using sword dance, the knowledge came straight to his mind, and his feet and hands started moving on their own, dancing in a harmonious and beautiful but at the same time deadly way.

"this skill just saved me a year of practice." Said Alex with a big grin on his face.

In his previous life, the system granted the users the knowledge on how to use different foot works and weapon skills.

But unlike his current skill, having the knowledge didn't mean that a person could use the said skill.

To use a skill, a person needed practice and persistence to learn it.

After constant practice, the person's muscle memory would take it from there to the point that the person didn't even need to think about it to use the skill.

But now, not only did Alex not need to practice the skill from the beginning, but also it seemed that his muscles were also modified to use the skill most efficiently.

"WOOOW, beautiful," said Emily from ten meters away.

She couldn't believe her own eyes. Alex's movements were so beautiful that it seemed like she was watching a Balearian perform.

Alex didn't stop there and hasten his speed; with every step he took, his movements became faster and faster until his sword became a blur.

After about twenty seconds, Alex ran out of stamina, and his face became pale.

With a grin on his face, he laid down on the ground couldn't help but let out a shout of happiness, "YEEES, I'M INVINCIBLE."

Emily looked at him with a dumbfounded expression. He couldn't believe that he was her brother.

'How could he be so fast?' she thought and started walking to her brother, who now was sitting checking his status window for the thousandth time to make sure that he wasn't dreaming.

"your movements were beautiful. Can you teach me?" said Emily in a hopeful tone of voice.

"sorry, Emy, this is a movement skill only for swordsmen. I don't think you can learn it. But I'm sure that we can also find good skills for you."

At first, Emily got disappointed, but when she heard Alex say that they could find such good skills, she got excited and asked, "really? How?"

"There are several ways, actually. You can earn rewards from the system by completing quests and killing beasts or even just learn them by practicing hard. There are also treasure boxes, hidden quests, etc. You can also buy them at the shop by using your integrated nanobots." Answered Alex

"Really? Are they as good as yours?"

"Not all of them, but if you want better rewards, you have to complete harder quests with better completion rates or kill stronger monsters."

"What about the shop? Where is the shop?" asked Emily, hoping she could find some skills as fast as possible.

"just say shop, and you can see it."

The shop was activated right after they reached level 20, and they could exchange their integrated nanobots with skills and items.

But one thing about the shop that was annoying was that all the good stuff were unique (not level, but the quantity) items that if one person bought first, another couldn't.

after thinking about it some more, Alex's expression got excited again, and he said, "could it be??"

Alex summoned the shop as fast as possible and filtered out all the items below epic grade.

"yes, I was right." He shouted and scared Emily, who was scrolling through the shop's items and skills.

'the bug is still there,' Alex thought.

Since they had reached level twenty before everyone else and since the system was still full of bugs, the shop was filled with good stuff for Alex and Emily to grab.

At first, Alex wanted to convert most of his integrated nanobots into stats. But after acquiring his job, his stats went up more than he expected, so he decided to spend most of his money in the shop and just leave a little to exchange in the real world when they went back to the city.
