5 Side Chapter: Guardian of Souls POV

It has almost been a whole month since I got this new post. My colleagues we're all sympathizing me after they heard I got this post. Some of them even cried for me. Fate is truly cruel to me. I don't even know what I did to my superior to get this post.

This job will be the death of me. Glancing over at the edge of my sight, I see the Ancient Eldritch Being of Infinite Darkness staring deathly right at me once again! Shit! I'm starting to shiver, but the fear is just too strong for me to even shiver! That's how fearsome this situation is. This is probably how probably the last guy who got posted here felt. I think his name was Earl or something?

This guy is known as EPB within the files which is an acronym for Eldritch Primordial Being. Our organization couldn't do anything in regards to this guy. Some of the reasons is simply because no communication was successful with it. The organization could only deal with this while taking into the consideration of the damage it costs. Of course, that's only a small part. The most important thing, is that it's hecking powerful and crazy huge! Also, his eyes are terrifying! Countless red eyes appears everywhere on it's abyssal cloud of body. Shit! I accidentally made eye contact! Please, please don't destroy me!

Suddenly, I sense a soul got out of the Cycle of Transmigration. This things been happening quite often nowadays since the problem at Sector Yggdrasil. It seems the Ragnarok created a chain reaction that could even affect this Sector. The higher ups are all busy trying to repair that up.

Out of nowhere, this EPB suddenly lashes out with it's black long appendages. I couldn't do anything because it's too fast. Oh no! It's my turn isn't it? *Crying*

Earl it seems I'm gonna meet you early. However, nothing happen. Huh? It seems to have lost it's interest and disappear within it's own body. Was it just warning for me or something? Also, I just realized, where did that straggler soul disappear to?
