Nagin - a snake princess love story

It was a pitch-black night, and I was in a place fully surrounded by jungle.

There was no existence of humans, but only me and a rattling sound, which I was following without realizing where I was. The sound was hypnotizing.

I was running like a mad unconscious man after that sound and finally my yearning was over when I saw her.

A woman in a beautiful ancient white clothes with rattling jewelry and with a veil fully covering her face.

She looked like an angel landed on this earth from heaven, but unfortunately, I was unable to see her face as the veil had covered her face properly.

I tried to reach her but every time I reach nearer to her, every time then she vanishes to some other place but not out from my sight as if she wants me to follow her, as if she wants to take me somewhere.

In the process I reached to a temple while following her and realized that it is lord Shiva's temple, the god of snakes, as described in Hindu mythologies.

The temple had many bells and the moment the women entered the temple stairs, the bells hanged inside the temple started ding-a-ling.

The entire jungle got covered with those ding-a-ling sound of the temple bells and for one moment I lost my sight from the women to the beautiful temple and then when my eyes returned to the place where the woman was then only I realized that she vanished again out from my sight.

My eyes started looking for her, here and there, and I found her there on the place where temple's stairs ends, I think on the entrance of the temple main gate.

I followed her onto the stairs of the temple, and the time I reached the end of the stairs on the temple's entrance, I noticed that women standing in front of me.

My instincts ordered me to lift her veil and the time I was doing this then only...

"Mom!!!!, I was about to lift her veil this time and you on between made me awake.....",

James said in annoyance.

"Son, you are watching this dream from the time you were seven years old and until this time you are unable to figure out about who that women and why that temple comes in your dreams. I think now you should stop dreaming of that while veiled women and should focus on Erica, with whom you have your engagement ceremony today".

"But mom, you know that I don't like Erica and living and marrying her is something I would never be able to do, then why you are making me marry her..."

"Son, you know that when you were born then only your father promised his best friend who is Erica's father about that you and Erica's marriage and stop asking help from me and my words can stand in front of your father's decision".

"But mom me and Erica are just good friends and else then that we are nothing inside each other's life, and even you say that you should marry a person whom you love, and you know very well that I don't love Erica and I too have rights to find my mate".

James said in annoyance.

"I don't know son, but our family is ruled by your father and here there is only one person who is entitled to take decisions and that as your father as if I will put my questions into his decisions, then we both will be responsible for the consequences and who said that friends cannot be couples and their relation cannot work. Even your father and me were friends before our marriage and later wise we got married and look how much our relationship is working".

"Yes!, yes! I understand how much your relationship is blooming, a relationship where you don't have any rights to take decisions, even".

James rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Son I would rather not hear anything now from you as the decision has been already taken, and now you have to follow the orders of your father. Everyone inside the family follows and abides your father's orders and you're to have to do the same the way you are doing from your childhood, or you know very well what can be the consequences".

"Mom I know that you can easily convince father for refusing this wedding, but I don't understand why you both have so much hurry to make me marry so early. I told you earlier even that I don't want to marry, like look at me, I am so young and at this age I should make girlfriends, but you both are forcing me to marry Erica with whom I was, and I am nothing but a friend".

James I would rather not hear anything from you now as everything is prepared and everything has been organized and now there is no way to go back so there to be ready for your father comes to check you for whether you are ready or not, and I must inform you that at 6 o'clock we have to head for Azamgarh mansion where the engagement ceremony has been organized and everyone has started preparing for the engagement except the one who should prepare early apart from everyone. James I am pleased that you are marrying and there are some reasons for which we are getting you married soon, and I don't think those reasons should come to your knowledge as they aren't relevant but just follow what we say as we always think better for you".

Kissing the forehead of James, his mother orders him to get prepared soon as in the evening they are heading for the Azamgarh mansion where James and Erica's engagement was organized.

The wedding had been organized steadily just because of secrets that James and his parents were hiding from him and about which they never wanted James to know.

The family had about 11 members like James and his parents, James two uncles (Mr. jack and black Cooper) and their wives (Stacy and Rebecca), one uncle had two sons (Eric and Jeremy)and the other one had a daughter (Rihanna) and lastly the grandmother.

The family wasn't much big but wasn't minimal also.
