"Great swing Kurapika!" Amon shouted loudly in the general direction that Gon was located. After saying that, he quickly threw himself into a portal which led to Gon location, which he had discovered with his En.
Hisoka just looked inquisitively at the spot Amon was on. He seemed confused, as he had thought it was the spikey black haired kid who threw that, but from Amon congratulating Kurapika, it turned out to be him. 'Truly interesting... huhuhuhu' Hisoka thought, before quickly killing the applicant he was holding onto and then dashing towards the direction 'Kurapika' was in.

Amon teleported to Gon. Currently Gon was trying his best to run away from Hisoka, even though he looked worried, his face couldn't hide the excitement he felt after he successfully got Hisoka's badge. As Gon didn't know couldn't identify his target with just the number, he decided to just go with the applicants closest to him.
Unfortunately it was Hisoka. Gon was too naïve, unlike in the canon, where he was scared of Hisoka, right now he hadn't experienced much of Hisoka's malice or hostile Nen. He severely underestimated him.
Just as Gon was about to jump over a rock, he suddenly felt himself become weightless. He turned around to find out that Amon was currently holding him in the air. "Amon? What's up?" Gon asked.
"Sorry Gon." Amon replied. Then he held Gon over his head, just as Gon was about to talk again. Amon launched him across the skies. [A/N: Like how that Mercenary Tao from DB throws his wood log]
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Gon's scream echoed around the island, Amon winced, 'Dang it Gon, can't you be quiet.'
[A/N: Yes, he is dead]
Just as Amon was about to start the count-down to use 'Hirashin' onto Gon's flying back. A familiar pink-purple aura entered his En range. 'Already, he is so fast!' Amon exclaimed.
As Amon got pulled into the 'Hirashin', Hisoka had just arrived onto the spot, Amon had just teleported from. 'That scream... was it Kurapika? Huhuhu, things are getting truly interesting.' Hisoka thought before following in the direction of Gon's scream.

When Amon transported to Gon, he was expecting for Gon to be screaming still. But instead of that, Gon was laughing.. and flying like superman. 'Typical Gon.' Amon thought.
Gon sensing the extra weight on his back, turned his head around to see Amon. "AAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMOOOOON..." Gon tried to speak, unfortunately each time he opened his mouth, it would be flooded by the wind.
Now why was Amon on top of Gon. It was not because he wanted to chuck Gon and see him suffering because he was pissed at him for going for Hisoka...
Instead he was finding the trajectory of where Gon would land, so that he could then catch him.
Amon quickly pulled out a notebook and pen. 'Hmm, c squared= a squared+b squared... angle I chucked him was approximately 20 degrees. Travelling at approximately ???km/h... to find theta...'
'AHA I got it!' Amon thought. He summoned a portal and quickly got one of the the Nen bullets to shoot at the spot Gon was going to land on. Then after waving goodbye to the flying Gon, he quickly teleported himself to the spot by using portals one after another.
As soon as Amon landed on the ground, he then realised that catching Gon would be quiet difficult. Gon was traveling a bit too fast.
After thinking of that, he pulled out his 'Eternity Pistols'. As soon as Gon was in range, he fired. Now he wasn't sure if it would actually slow his speed down, but eh well, even if he misses, Gon has a pretty hard head...

"Gon why the f*ck would you go after Hisoka!" Amon reprimanded. He had already caught Gon and moved to a safer area.
"Ehehe, I don't know?" Gon said while scratching his head.
Amon, speechless, stared at Gon. Gon soon started sweating profusely.
"You do know that he can easily kill you."
"Yes, but that's why I used my fishing rod, and ran away as soon as I got the tag." Gon brightly answered.
Amon face palmed.
"And I also had a feeling, that if I was in trouble, you would arrive!" Gon proclaimed.
Amon blushed, he felt embarrassed. He wondered what Gon would think if he found out that Amon had just appeared coincidentally.
"Ok... but I won't come save you next time, you have to get strong on your own, kay? I'm your friend, not guardian." Amon seriously spoke.
"Hmm." Gon nodded.
"Also, don't go for Gittarackur, or someone who remotely seems dangerous, trust your instincts, but not too much, use your head, kay?"
Gon after digesting all the advice, finally gave a bright smile accompanied by a thumbs up.
"Oh! When you said 'use your head', what do I use it for!" Gon asked.
Amon groaned.
"Haha just kidding!"
Amon was flabbergasted.

"The Fourth Phase of the Exam has Ended." The announcers voice echoed across Zevil Island. "Will the applicants please return to the starting point at once? You will be given one hour of extra time. If you do not arrive during this time, you will fail the exam. Furthermore, you are not allowed to exchange tags after reaching the starting point."
After an hour, all surviving applicants had arrived at the boat.

On the boat.
Amon, Leorio, Kurapika, Gon and Killua had all passed the exam. During the end time, Amon had mostly explored with Gon and Killua after they had finished, then later helped Leorio and Kurapika out during the trouble with Ponzu.
Ponzu had still ended up failing. Gon still took Ponzu's tag as payment. Even though it didn't show much, it still showed that at times, Gon could also stop being kind. As by taking her tag, Gon had severely undermined her chances passing the exam.
Not that that made Gon a despicable person. Gon was just Gon. Someone who thinks mostly of himself and his friends.
Though Amon, Killua and Kurapika were also not saints. Amon and Killua both had similar personalities, carefree, doing what they desired (for Amon, Killua is forced to do assassin stuff). Kurapika would go to any lengths to fulfill his revenge, any lengths mean any.
Leorio though. Could be described as one the best characters in Hunter X Hunter. He was considered to have "as the most pleasant heartbeat in York New" by Melody. He punched Gon's good-for-nothing father for not visiting his son when stricken with a worse-than-death condition.
Heck, his main goal in life, is to earn money from being a Hunter, so then he can become a doctor and treat patients no matter how much money they. He simply wants to help people. Comparing that to other characters of Hunter X Hunter, you get a true saint.

"Yo Kil, guess whose, tag I stole." Gon said smugly to the sitting Killua.
"Who?" Killua asked curiously.
"Hisoka's!" Gon whispered loudly.
Killua's eyes widened in shock.
A certain horny clown man, who was standing close by also, had a delighted expression on his face.
