29 onii-sama is going to kill? (You never know with illumi)
"Ah! Maybe we can ask Hisoka nicely to play janken with all of us!" Gon suddenly shouted a bit too loudly.
All of them suddenly stared at Gon weirdly, even Hisoka abruptly turned his head around.
Gon seeing them all bewildered, knew his plan wasn't the best. "Ehehe, it was just an idea..." Gon said while his cheeks started turning red and his eyes all beady.
Killua seeing Gon so flustered couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Killua! Stop laughing! It's not funny!" Gon shouted.
Leorio and Kurapika both smiled seeing them.
Kurapika's eyes softened, as he saw both of them, he couldn't help but reminisce about a certain boy with medium brown hair with maroon eyes. 'Pairo, I'm certain that if you had ever met Gon, you would have instantly become good friends.'
"Okay we have to think of something, time is running out." Leorio once again spoke up.
As the time continued drizzling by, everyone continued thinking hard. Even Gon was trying, he was trying so hard, faint smoke could be seen coming from his head, indicating his fast thinking brain. :|
"Come on guys, you only have a few minutes left, think faster."
A voice suddenly interrupted them, they all discovered Amon, playing with one of the axes that were placed on the wall.
"Amon!" Gon shouted, surprised. Though, even after all his appearances, only Gon would be surprised, everyone else was already used to his random appearances.
As Amon analyzed the situation, he finally concluded that due to Tonpa being absent, Gon couldn't gain inspiration from Tonpa destroying the wall. And Hisoka would most likely just instantly kill or immoblize Leorio and Kurapika, or bust through the door. 'Let me fix that' Amon thought.
"Wow, look at this strong and hard axe, hmm, let me test it," Amon said while lightly swinging it at the wall.
A deep gouge formed on the wall after the swing. Killua, Leorio and Kurapika looked confused, Gon, though, suddenly had his eyes brighten up.
*phoo* Amon sighed in relief, it seemed that Gon had been inspired to use the method he did in the canon, even though his acting was sh*tty, the message seemed to have been conveyed.

"Kurapika, applicant #404 is the twentieth to pass. Killua, applicant #99 is the twenty-first to pass. Gon, applicant #405 is the twenty-second to pass. Leorio, applicant #403 is the twenty-third to pass. Amon, applicant #100 is the...uh second and twenty-fourth to pass. Hisoka, applicant #44 is the twenty-fifth to pass." Lippo announced.
All the applicants in the room, turned around to look at the new arrivals. They were all surprised to see three of them being kids, but then when they finally noticed Amon, they finally understood.
Most of the applicants had already seen Amon before in the room, but every now and then he would seemingly disappear and reappear. Most of them thought he was just a hallucination, but now after hearing the announcer, they were forced to believe it was real. Most of them decided to just stay away from Amon, there was already a creepy needle dude, a killer clown, and now a disappearing boy.
The new arrivals, as in Kil, Kurapika, and Leorio were pretty pissed. They knew that the X door was fast, but they hadn't expected a steep slide, as a result all of them except Amon and Hisoka, were scuffled looked as if they had just participated in trench warfare.
"That was a fun ride." Amon blankly said, only to be attacked with harsh glares from Kil, Leorio and Kurapika.
"YEA! The Hunter Exam is awesome, along with passing the phase, they also gave us a free ride!" Gon cheerfully said. His dirty face could not hide the joy and excitement he had.
After Gon's outburst they all proceeded to walk away from the door, leaving Hisoka behind. Hisoka had a thin smile on his face, he was peering directly Amon's group, his eyes conveyed his strong desire of lust...

Outside Trick Tower.
Currently Lippo was explaining some aspects of the next phase. He'd told the examinees to draw lots which would determine who was hunting who in the next phase. There were 24 cards in the box, each with a certain number on them
Gittarackur, as in Illumi was first up to pick as the picking order was decided on who reached the bottom of Tower first. This meant it was Amon's turn next, as he was second, he doubted he would get another go for coming twenty-fourth.
As Illumi awkwardly bent over and reached his hand out into the box, Amon wondered how much of an effect his existence here had on Illumi's pick, he would never find out though, as it wasn't shown which number Illumi got.
As soon as Illumi picked the card up, he tilted his head sideways to read the number. As Illumi walked back, Amon could have sworn that Illumi was smiling even with Gittarackur's face (that seemed like it was always smiling). But this time it was a genuine smile
Illumi's next actions confirmed his thoughts. Illumi had directly peered at Amon, then very subtly mouthed One-hundred, while everyone thought Illumi was just being weird, only Amon knew that his brother had ended up with his number. [A/N: In the canon, there were stickers on the cards, so just assume that Illumi used Nen to see behind the sticker]
'F*ck, he's definitely going to try and attack me.' Amon thought. Even though the the next phase hadn't been clearly explained, Illumi was smart enough to know, that it most likely involved some sort of combat or hunting, the target. The target would be found threw the numbers drawn.
Even if Illumi hadn't drawn out Amon's number, there was still a chance he might have tried to snatch Amon's tag anyway, just to hamper his chances. But he also might not try to fail Amon, after all only Illumi knew what happened in his mind and what decision he took.
Amon walked towards the box, he began thinking on what his plan should be on Zevil Island. He would probably try to collect 3 other tags from random mob characters, then go into hiding, or help his friends if they needed it.
But that might be difficult, as Illumi would already be on the island before Amon and other participants could be, so he might have to engage with Illumi at the beginning and then break away from him. He could try and use the basic 'Snatcher' to pull in Illumi's badge/tag, but this apart from being hard to accomplish was not really that beneficial. After all, if his badge was stolen he could just quickly get 6 others to pass.
As Amon grabbed his card from the box, he subtly used his Nen, to see the number.
After he discovered it, he was incredibly shocked, so mind blown, that he felt as if his existence would be erased after unearthing and finding out who his target was.
