18 Hisoka Morow

Underground Tunnel- Hunter Exam Phase One

After nearly 4 hours of running, Leorio was getting tired. He was questioning his existence. As Amon continued to run with Killua and Gon, he also kept a close eye on Leorio, after all he was going to collapse soon but get back up later.

After a few more minutes, Leorio abruptly fell. Gon also stopped, naturally Amon and Killua also stopped, after all they both serve Gon-sama.

"Hey, forget him, let's get going." Killua said, just what you'd expect from an assassin. Even though Amon had mellowed Killua a bit, it wasn't much, he hadn't taught him any moral lessons or profound sayings. The time they spent together was mostly about having fun.

Gon though, just stood there silently, looking deeply at Leorio. It was as if he knew Leorio would get up. One thing Amon had to admit, was that all of Gon's friends were incredibly talented and hardworking. Handsome also, though he might have narcissistically said handsome because he was technically his friend now.

Amon peered into Gon's eyes, they seemed so innocent so naïve, but also terrifying. Gon was a selfish and hypocritical boy. For example, he let a serial killer who killed many go, just because the killer had helped in his Nen training. He basically also decides if people are good or bad by whether he likes them or not.

Not that this made him into a bad person. Gon was really easy to get along with, Amon thought. After a few seconds, Leorio made a loud shout and started bolting towards the front while screaming, "I'm going to be a HUNTER!"

Gon smiled after seeing that, Amon was also shocked at the sudden burst of speed from Leorio. Then Gon, using his fishing rod caught Leorio's suitcase, that was left, with the hook and pulled it towards him.

Killua looked shocked and shouted, "Cool!"

"Let me try that later!" I said to Gon.

"If you let me try your skateboard, okay?" Gon replied.

"I'm older, so I'm first!" Killua shouted while trying to give his skateboard too Gon. Gon backed off, while scratching his head and looking confused.

"Only by like a minute, besides, I asked first!" Amon retorted. Though Amon didn't really give a sh*t about the rod, he was just trying to annoy Killua.

After arguing for a few minutes, by which everyone else running was confused at them. The other participants were struggling to run and catch their breath, while these two kids were arguing about a rod. Then Killua started hissing like a cat, at which point Amon decided to concede, after all a wild neko Killua, no matter how adorable isn't very convenient.

"Fine fine, you can have a go first." Amon finally said. Killua smiled smugly in return.

Through the corner of his eyes, Amon saw Tonpa. His lips twisted upwards into a weird smile. Then without waiting, Amon activated his malicious Nen, or in other words 'Killer Intent' and sent it straight towards Tonpa. Even though his Killer Intent wasn't strong enough to deal damage to strong Nen users, against normal humans, it was definitely an overkill.

*Thud* Tonpa's body, out of nowhere collapsed, he started shivering, his hair started turning white and slowly started to fall out. A puddle had also soon formed underneath him, soon a foul odor started to spread. The other contestants looked shocked, one moment he was smiling happily but the next he seemed to be on death's doorstep. But they soon just blamed it on the mental pressure. Apart from the one's that knew of the Rookie Crusher almost everyone just blamed his condition on mental pressure.

At the beginning of the Extermination Mission, Knov has medium-length black hair, but near the day of the assault on the Chimera Ant King's palace, he experienced a mental breakdown upon coming into contact with Shaiapouf's heinous En. His hair turned white, and soon fell out. His confident demeanor was non-existent after that, even though he manages to regain his courage, he would still be scarred for the rest of his life.

What Amon had done, was similar. But much more severe. Knov was a Nen user, during his mission, he was sure to have used Nen to protect himself. However, Tonpa was a common man, he may be more physically fit than the average person but against a Nen user, he was as fragile as an insect. Amon would be surprised if Tonpa could start talking again after this.

Did he feel pity, of course not. Tonpa was irrelevant, besides he couldn't risk Tonpa falling in with the others during the trick tower phase. He could have just killed him, but he wasn't too sure if killing someone was against the rules or not.

Near the front of the group of runners.

Hisoka Morow was currently relaxed as he ran behind the Examiner, Satotz. Even though he really wanted to fight the man, he kept his urges.

But then he nearly lost control, he sensed some Nen manifestation, he quickly looked for the source. Then he noticed a fat man lying on the floor, he seemed to be in shock. Then Hisoka noticed another young boy who could use Nen.

He started licking his lips, he wanted to pounce on the boy, just as he was about to walk there, a hand suddenly barred his way. It was Gittarackur, in other words Illumi.

"Leave him, he is my brother." Illumi said in his weird voice. Hisoka pondered, on whether he should just ignore Illumi and go for his brother. But he decided against it, after all he didn't want Illumi as an opponent for now. He nodded and then proceeded to run.

When Amon noticed Hisoka looking at him, he was ready for a fight, fortunately his brother had stopped Hisoka. Even though he wanted to avoid Hisoka, he knew that once he joined the Phantom Troupe, he would not only have Kurapika after him, Hisoka would also try to kill him along with the other members.

"Hey let's go!" Kilua shouted at Amon.

"Let's race to the end!" Gon shouted.

"Loser buys diner!" Killua replied. Then they both increased their pace and started sprinting. Amon sighed and started following after them.

On the way there, they reached Kurapika and Leorio. After Killua called Leorio and 'old man'. Leorio shocked everyone present, except Amon, when he told them he wasn't even 20 yet. It's weird to think that Leorio is younger than Illumi.

After running a bit more. They finally reached the end of the tunnel. After he briefly explained about the Numere (Milsy) Wetlands and how dangerous they were. After he finished, while everyone was discussing about the place, a voice suddenly interrupted them.

"He's lying to you!

He's an impostor!

He isn't an examiner...

I'm the real examiner." An injured man who looked just like Satotz walked in.

Everything happened the way Amon was expecting. Everyone thinks Satotz is a man-faced devil with long-limbs. Until Hisoka helps them out that is, he throws his cards at both the impostor and Satotz. After Satotz catches it and then warns Hisoka. Everyone prepares to walk through the Wetlands.
