19 Torture

(One day later)

At least one day had passed since Natsuo was locked in that dark basement, where that same old dusty lamp kept cradling, starting to sound like an insect.

The man with a buzz cut walked in and the wooden door squeaked open. His squirming tattoo led Natsuo to name him Snake as he didn't know his real name.

"I have news for you," Snake said with a sly smirk on his scarred lips.

Natsuo tilted his head leisurely toward him.

"First of all, I called your boss."

"I don't have a boss," Natsuo snorted, thinking about how he would never work for someone like Nix.

"So, you work for the yakuza as a volunteer?" Snake asked, his eyes gleaming with amusement.

"Kind of."

"Well, that's a new one. Anyway - I talked with that yakuza leader. He knows we have you."

Natsuo's curiosity was piqued and he was interested to hear what the man had to say about Nix.
