1 Chapter 1: The Prodigy

On a cool autumn morning, in a lake neighborhood there was a boy, and his name was Aaron Lancaster.

Now, from the outside he looked like your average boy of 12, he stood at 5 foot 2 and had light brown hair, tanned skin, freckles, and bright blue eyes, the young boy lived with his mother and father in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

However many considered him to be an absolute prodigy capable of picking up anything practically instantaneously.

And this did not just count for academics, for while the young boy was no physical marvel, his learning abilities allowed him to pick up the strategies and body mechanics of any sport at an arming rate, however he was still overwhelmed by the more physical adept kids.

And while his intellect got him the admiration of his teachers and the pride of his parents, it unfortunately led to young Aaron haveing very few friends.

Though worst of all, his intellect mad forced him to skip several grades, and while he competed acidemily with the older kids, he was frequently picked on.

But hopefully, that was all about to change.

Aaron had indeed skipped several grades, for a boy of his age would only be in the seventh grade normally, but he had been bumped up to highschool the previous summer. And this was no ordinary highschool, this was the most prestigious school in the whole state, and Aaron's family had moved from Columbia to Milwaukee exclusively for him to go to there!

But with this move, Aaron left all he knew behind, his old house, neighborhood and whatever few friends he did have.

But throughout this whole time Aaron confided in what he truly had a passion for. The fantasy worlds that came out of film and movies, to the point where he theorized how some of the stories could have existed.

Only his parents knew of this secret love of his and were the only ones who encouraged him to take up writing and become something other than a scientist or doctor.

But today, was not the time to worry about that, it was the night before his first day at Grey Phoenix high and Aaron lay in bed.

"Well, it's time." Thoguht Aaron.

"New city, new school, Heck! Even an absolutely new grade!"

"I'm going to go tomarrow and leave behind all previous assumptions about myself!"

"No more getting picked on, no more being known only as the, "smart kid" and no more being a borderline introvert, it's time to show the world a new me!"

As he closed his eyes he hoped his optimism wasn't blind, and that he really could accomplish what he set out to do.

But that, was for tomarrow, and now, he just needed to get some sleep.
