4 "I don't know?"

"wake up, Wake Up, WAKE UP!!"

A loud voice rang out in Agni's head.

"I'm up, I'm up." Agni yelled as he rose from his "bed"

"Damn it, you don't have to be so loud Mai." Agni complained out loud.

Agni looked around and noticed a few new figures. "Who are you?" Agni questioned in a groggy state.

"No kid, who are YOU." A mans voice sounded out.

Agni glanced around, after finding where the voice came from he started, "Me?, I'm Agni. You might be wondering why i'm in this situa-"

"Alright kid, don't tell me your life story, your name was fine." Alexander annoyingly told Agni.

"What are you three doing here?" After some time Agni finally asked and pointed to Alexander and two other people sleeping.

Before getting them the chance to answer Agni got up in excitement and ran to check on his traps.

Alexander who was about to explain the situation he and his friends were in was suddenly stopped as he watched Agni get up and run in a certain direction.

"This kid..."

~Ten minutes pass~

Alexander heard noise coming from his right, he got up and was ready to cast some spells, but he stopped when Agni came running and laughing.

"HAHAH, What a good catch!" Agni exclaimed as he went to the campfire. "Oh yeah, you guys are still here."

"Yes, we are." Before Alexander could speak, Elanor spoke. "I must thank you for saving our lives." Elanor then bowed and told Alexander to also follow.

"Woah, save you? When was this? I don't remember saving you?" Agni gave a questioning look towards the weird people in his camp.

Alexander spoke this time. "It was thanks to your trap, we were able to escape from some people who wanted us dead." "Yes, we got out of their clutches thanks to your trap, and since it was your trap then we must thank you." Elanor added in.

"Ah, that was why one of my traps was destroyed, makes sense I guess." Agni spoke, but in his mind he was calling for Mai. "Mai! Mai. Mai? Hello? You there?" Getting no reply Agni decided to just make food, and since his catch was big it would be enough for all of the new people.

"Agni, I am Alexander, this lady here is Elanor, and our unconscious friend there is named Sal. He is still recovering from some injuries. So It may take some time to wake him up." Alexander started introducing his friends and himself.

"Nice to meet you all, I hope we can get along." Agni gave a bow and resumed on making food.

Agni's catch this time was, two snakes, a rabbit, and three birds. He was done prepping the food, and was now ready to cook, he just needed to start the fire.

Alexander seeing Agni busy, pulled Elanor aside. "Can we trust this kid? He doesn't look like someone who would be able to take down three of the "Wolf's Den". Are you sure you didn't mistake him for someone else."

"Alexander I assure you, I saw it with my own eyes, I saw him kill the "Wolfs". He even spared us, he can't be bad, plus he looks to be what 10? 11?" Elanor whispered.

"That's exactly what's wrong, he's only 10 and you're saying he took down three intermediate mages of the "Wolf's Den"? No way I can believe that."

Alexander kept arguing with Elanor, while Agni happily cooked the food. Agni cooked the snake meat first as it was the fastest to cook, then he cooked the rabbit and then the birds.

Sal awoke from the smell of fresh cooked food. "Mhmmm, what's that smell?" Sal said as he looked towards Agni cooking.

"SAL!!" both Alexander and Elanor exclaimed as they rushed towards him.

"Are you okay? How's the poison." A concerned Elanor asked.

"I'm fine, I just can't use mana right now. Other than that who's over there cooking?" Sal's stomach growled as he looked at Agni cooking.

"I'm glad, you're okay Sal." Alexander spoke. "That's the boy who saved us, he said his name was Agni."

"Then I must thank him." Sal got up but immediately fell down. "I guess the poison is more serious then I thought."

Alexander and Elanor were worried for their friend. That was when Agni came over.

"Good everyone is up, Let's eat." Agni gave the birds to each of them while he kept the snakes and rabbit to himself.

"Thank you kid." Sal weakly spoke, but Agni was too busy eating to notice. To that Sal gave a dry laugh. "Elanor I might need your healing magic again."

"I am afraid I can't help you Sal, I am only able to suppress the poison... But that person over there might be able to help." Elanor pointed to Agni. "I saw him use Light Emergence last night to fight the "Wolfs", that must mean he is a better light user than I am.

"What???" Both Sal and Alexander screamed.

Agni gave them all weird looks and thought to himself. What a weird bunch.

"You never told me that Ela. If you said that then I would've believe in your story more." Alexander spoke.

"But you still wouldn't believe in it anyway right?" Elanor rebutted.

"If he can use Light Emergence then that is good. He must be a student of a Grand Sage who has hidden himself from the world." Sal broke the fight that was brewing. "Agni come here." Sal tried yelling.

Agni finished eating and was about to clean up the area when he heard his name. 'Yeah? What's up?"

"I must thank you for saving me, and providing us food. But I have a favor to ask of you."

"Yeah no problem, those two already thanked me for you so don't worry about it." Agni gave a big smile, but in his teeth was still some remnants of food.

"Then I will proceed. I want to ask you to heal me." Sal cut to the chase and asked Agni.

Agni laughed while getting strange looks from the three.

"How do I do that?" Agni finally said after laughing.

"What..." Elanor and Alexander exclaimed.

"What do you mean what? I don't know how to heal anyone."

When Agni said those words the group was stunned.

"How did you do what you did last night then?" Elanor questioned.

"I don't know." Agni replied looking lost.

...

"You don't know?" Alexander questioned.

"I don't know." This time Agni said in a serious tone.

Then after a few seconds of silence, Agni laughed and then fell asleep.
