Chap 5: Escaped into the night while being chased out by a stranger's familiar?!!

??? pov

"Hmm, it seems they don't know what's about to befall them hahaha."??? said with dark laughter escaping their mouth from where they were sitting when the hell pixies sent their memories to them. "Eleven come here at once!" ??? yelled for their servant "Yes master." Eleven said with a scared tone in their voice. "I want you to get Steven ready for a hunt tonight in the Almai forest."??? Said with a smirk, "yes master but why?" Eleven said questionably. "DO YOU DARE QUESTION MY ACTIONS!!!!" ??? yelled angrily "no master!!" Eleven said in fear "good then do what is said NOW!!" ??? said, "yes master!" Eleven said in fear. ??? said nothing else 'hmm should I send more of the Hell pixies Nah I will not have any problems killing those teens.' ??? thought (Oh if he only knew right guys: author note)

Later that night

Morgan's pov

"Okay, guys have everything ready." I said to all of them "Yes we even doubled-checked." They all said together then they all started to glare at each other again like last time before we woke up in this world. "Guy focus we don't know who summoned those Hell Pixies but it cannot be good, who knows what else they will send after us for all we know it could be something to kill us all especially with what was written in the book about them." I said with seriousness. "Okay, Morgan I understand." They all said together again but they ignored each other this time which was good "Okay let's get moving!!" I yelled to them "Yes mam." They yelled together. We got our phones out and went to the map to find out if there was a town/village near them which there was it was called Goldview village, so they got ready to walk in the direction of the village.

Author pov

What they didn't know at the time is when they were getting ready to leave the forest, ??? released Steven at the same time as the group was starting their journey to Goldview village. When Steven got to the campsite they noticed that their prey was missing and immediately started to sniff for their scent to follow them. When they caught their prey scent they started to track them down what Steven didn't know is that Morgan one of the group members stayed behind to see if anything was going to show up and Steven showed. The second Morgan saw the Creature she freaked out but tried to stay quiet then moved swiftly moving away from the creature and towards where their group was going to but when she did she stepped on a twig. Steven heard and started to book it towards the noise with not a care in the world.

Morgan's pov

'Oh shit, I'm going to die if I don't f***ing run away from this creature!!!' I screamed in my head while f***ing booking it away from the creature which had started to chase me. All of a sudden I saw my friends walking ahead of me "GUYS START F***ING RUNNING NOW!!!" I all but yelled at them they looked at me perplexed until they saw the creature behind me and they started to book it too. "OH SHIT WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE IF WE DON'T RUN FASTER!!" Troy yelled in fear and adrenaline. "WAIT, GUYS WASN'T THERE A WATERFALL NEAR THIS AREA!!" yelled Bella in a thought "YEAH YOUR RIGHT WE CAN JUMP OFF THAT TO GET RID OF THIS CREATURE!!!" yelled Chandler at us. We all quickly change direction to go to the waterfall to jump off into to live another day. I quickly distracted the creature to make sure everyone got away safely when they jumped off, while the creature was distracted and I ran towards the edge of the waterfall and jumped off, and met everyone down there. After we got to dry land with the tree's covering the land and we walked a bit before we checked each other to ensure we weren't injured. We looked up and saw the creature and saw that it had wings it was looking for us but didn't see us or smell us because we were soaking wet which was a relief. We quickly continued our way towards Goldview village when we were out of the forest fully and saw a road we took a break to take a breather and to rest "hey guys can one of you hand me the creature book real quick please." I asked nicely, Caleb was the one going to hand me the book and they all gathered up when I was given the book "why are you getting the book out now." Jacob asked confused "are you serious right now Jacob we could be shish kababed right now and you ask why really?" Bella said in disbelief of Jacob being that dumb at that moment. "Carrying on guys let us see what the book of creatures has to say about this creature." I said curiousness then the book started to do what it did like last time but it flipped into the familiar section of the book and hears what it said

Winged Lions- they can come in any color and they have bird-like wings on their backs, they can fly with their wing but they like being on the ground more. They only bond with warrior-type people but are still picky about the people they bond with. They are fiercely protective of their bonded they are known to kill anybody they feel will kill their chosen one (or bonded either one works: author note). They love chasing their prey. They can die in any way except if the attacker tries to kill them with the same gift as their bonded. They are stronger than average (stronger than the actual lion's strength: author note). They are average height (actual lion's height: author note). Their claws can cut anything like butter. They had night vision but lost it when they bonded with their chosen one. They can talk and share memories through their bonds with their chosen one. They can be found in the Mystic forest. "That explains why it couldn't see us in the dark when we got out of the waterfall bottom." I say deadpanning imaging what would have happened if it still had night vision like the other cats have and shuddered "I did not need that image in my head Morgan thanks." Jacob said with sarcasm and a fearful expression "sorry forgot about the whole mind-reading thing." I said apologetically. We all talked and decided to sleep here on the side of the road with one lookout guard and switch throughout the night. I agreed to be the first watch-women then Caleb, Octavian, Bella, Troy, Jacob, and Chandler would be the last one so everyone went to sleep except me I got comfortable and on guard.

Author pov

When the group went to sleep except for one, they did not notice a slight glow in the bag the two of them had opened up the next chapter of their books and they wouldn't know until they woke up the next day
