6 Back study, Plan and Order

After finish reading the letter Klause inner thought was in turmoil. He couldn't organize what will he do and how will he act in his mind after gaining a few information. In fact it these few information creates even more question in his mind. The fact that what he majority knows from where he come from is clouding him from making accurate judgement like the previous first encounter battle, by relying on his knowledge about his opponent clouded him from thinking of other possibilities does resulting him almost get killed.

Klause: Wow that was a lot old man, guess I'll have to thank you for giving me a welcome gift and in turn I'll try to honor your request.

Still I'm surprised to learn that there exist a higher rank than arc mage, to my knowledge magician rank stop progressing after arc mage being the highest. Did this apply the same for the other jobs I knew?.Exactly how powerful were the follower of light people for a sage of this level be respectful and willing to brave any danger just for the legacies they had left?.

The old man told in his letter that I only need to drip this ring with my blood to bind it and be my personal belonging. Let's give it a try then and see what's inside.

Klause draw his sword and carefully slit his finger to draw blood for the ring to drip in. After that he waited for the ring to have a reaction or a glow effect to know if he had succeeded in binding it.

Klause: Strange it has no reaction until now after being drip in my blood for a while now. Did I succeed?. Ok let's pick it up and wear it then.

As klause draw near the ring and stretch his arm to pick it up, the ring suddenly lift up and flung towards his direction automatically wearing itself to his middle finger. Klause was surprised by this event and react slowly. Inside his mind an instruction on how to use the ring appears.

Klause: So in order for me to use this ring is by applying magic energy in it and giving action command through my mind after I can stretch my arm with the ring on it grabbing or putting something out of thin air. If I want to know the content inside the ring just give command in my head again and the content would be flashed in my mind as an image like a freaking projector.

This ring sure is handy, but there is little problem. I don't know how to apply magic energy in this ring yet. How would I do that? I'm once an arc mage and able to cast powerful spells I know, but that was in a game where I had the help of a system to do magic. In truth I never did study any magic manipulation thing. If only I could study magic manipulation here.

Oh! I forgot about the books on the table. They are books related to study magic, maybe I can learn magic manipulation from it.

let see...... Creation of magic.......Fusion of magic........Balancing of magic.......Nature of magic.......Ah here Fundamentals of magic.

I'm pretty sure this book contains the information of manipulating magic energy. It may take time to study but I'm in a safe hidden place with food and water so why not?...

After having opportunity Klause went on to study silently in the old man's place without having worry on what is happening outside. He was completely absorb in his study on magic.

Meanwhile somewhere in the forest a dark figure with a skinny arm holding a crystal while speaking a strange words afterwards the crystal it was holding cast a bright light which form a sphere and projected another figure.

?????: My lord! please forgive my disturbance. I'm here to report the progress of my mission.

?????: Very well then speak servant.

?????: The larvae that you found from those dark ruins manage to successfully cocooned here in the forest. After consuming those negative magic energy in the last 10 years finally it has begun its evolution. Soon it will reach adulthood and then we can begin our plans of inflicting chaos in this land.

?????: It's a good thing that it finally starting but don't just be over confident my servant. Be on alert for anything that will disrupt it from evolving. Stop anything that will cause it harm understood?

?????: Yes my lord! I will do anything at my full capabilities to protect it.

?????: Go now and do your duty.

?????: Farewell then my lord.

That foolish servant of mine do your work properly and in time when that creature reach its full maturity be prepared to be buried along with the rest of the people in that land in death and chaos.

Same time on another place a group of people clad in full body armor riding horses is fast approaching the sentinel tower guards station. These group of men were General Airo and his soldiers. As they were nearing the two sentry guard open the gate to the station and greet the general and his soldier with salute followed by status report.

Sentry Guard: Greeting general! welcome to Sentinel tower guard station.

General Airo: At ease gentlemen please proceed with the report.

Sentry Guard: Reporting for duty sir! Last night we've discovered a strange flash of lights in the area of the deep forest. We believe that a suspicious activity is being conduct in that place. The flash of light lasted for almost a minute before it disappear. That's all we've got to report sir aside from that everything seems back to normal.

General Airo: Thank you gentlemen you may go back on your duties, I'll take things from here.

Sentry Guard: Sir yes sir!

General Airo: Attention! Hear and receive my orders. I want you to prepare yourself for combat, rest for a bit while organizing your things afterwards we will enter the forest on foot. So I want every one of you on high alert. Do you understand me?

Soldiers: We receive and obey your orders sir.

General Airo: Very well disperse.
