Andrew of the House Patterson Part 2

When I get into the nearest store I immediately hopped out with my phone on my hand and bills in my pocket. I collect a few chips and ice creams and then, cookies. Damn, there is so much more to buy. There is an icebox in my car full of ice for the ice cream not to melt. That's a very smart idea of Marissa. I pick up Patrick's call when my phone rang.

"Your girlfriend is giving me full demand."

"Take care of her while I am working, Andrew. I had increased your salary."

"Wow, you are awesome bro. How much did they give to you?"

"It is not your business anymore, Drew. Just buy what Marissa wanted." I winced on what he demanded.

"Oh wow. Now you are demanding too much as Marissa did."

I did buy what Marissa did and he even told me what Marissa wanted to eat so I bought a few chocolates, sodas…oh damn, why am I have this feeling like I have my own family? Which is Marissa and Patrick are my children. Should I grab someone here to give me pleasure or should I find love? As much as I wanted to have someone by my side like Patrick has, I always thought of my sister. I am afraid that we didn't give her enough love. I am afraid that we lose her.

I came back a little late in the afternoon. Marissa's childishness over the ice cream gets worse. I thought that she would eat me alive because I come back late. Damn this girl. She always does hate me.

When the weekend comes, Patrick would go home and they would flirt each other all day. I hate seeing them like that. But my brother is happy so it would not be that bad.

Every day I do my routine on running on the forest, thinking or maybe, hoping to see that enchanted girl in the woods. She's really lovely, really, really lovely. I stop running, catch my breath, closing my eyes, and looking up the sky. Trees are tall, the sun rise-light beams from trees to trees. What a wonderful day. When I look into my front, my heart almost jumps into my throat when I saw someone standing there, holding a spear.

"Oh, wow." He's not just holding a spear, but it was a golden spear that he is holding. He's is wearing a gray cloak, hood, covering his head. His outfit is ancient or old… old style? Maybe, whatsoever, but he is staring at me that bothers me that much.

"Andrew of House Patterson."

"Ah…" I looked around to make sure that he is speaking to me. "Y-yeah?" I cleared my throat. "Yes?"

"Messenger from House of Highest Highness, Aurelius."

The confusion was all over his face. Why does it feel like, he was suddenly connected to the other world? Adhiti comes in his mind immediately. Maybe Nick sent him.

"Does Nicholas of Era sent you here?"

"Prince Nicholas is not my master. Princess Amanda is the one who sent me here. I am here to deliver a message from her." He pulls out a scroll from his belt, walking towards my direction and extend it to me with a bow. I took it. I kept myself cool but alert that it might be a sudden attack of the stranger. "Remember," the man face me again. "That once you had read it, the whole scroll will be destroyed by fire. This moment is very confidential. And from this moment after saying this, 'this has never happened'." After that, he immediately walks away turning into a gray and white werewolf.

I stood there, really, really confused. I looked at the white scroll and immediately run back to the house. I was breathless when I luckily catch up with my parents before they leave off to the mystical academy.

"Wha—" My dad immediately took the scroll from my hand and my mother runs to him, as I did and dad, takes a few seconds before scrolling it open.

Many executions she takes from the insecurities and hatred,

Of those who greed and hold such power.

Our young prophecy still lives.

For, every monsters and element takes her side.

For her, the one and only life,

Of your world, my world, their world, our world.

What does this mean? I speak in my mind. Dad immediately closed the scroll putting it on the sink and big fire eats the whole scroll and immediately it turns into ashes.

"Where it came from?" Dad asked me.

"It said, from the House of Highest Highness. What does it mean?"

"Adhiti is alive. She takes all the execution and she had survived." My mother broke into tears. "Ohh, my little angel. How many times should she die to pay their sins?" my dad immediately put his arms around her, as mom sobbed on his chest. "They are all, evil."

How many times should I witness the pain from the people who loved her? How many times should I worry for my sister, and hate those people who wanted her dead? How many times should my sister suffer?

"I won't let them hurt her again. Once I get into their freaky world, I will kill anyone who tried to kill her or wanted her death." My dad put his hand over my shoulder and gently squeeze it.

"Don't do it literally, Andrew. You should cool your head before attacking. Remember? Don't let hatred overcome you."

I was left alone in the house. I have to lock all the entrances and possible entrances and turn the security alarm before going to Marissa's house. I was really surprised to see Masen using the martial arts that I taught him on the big punching bag that is hanging on the tree. He's really into it and I am proud of him as his mentor.

There are tingles on my neck straight to my spine when I felt that someone is watching us. I immediately turn on the direction where I saw someone watching us. I caught it and it was a girl but she was fast and she immediately disappears. Just as I realized that it was the same girl whom I saw in the woods. She's watching over here. Does that mean that she's a threat?

I run in the direction and hear her running away. Just as I was about to catch her, she falls down the ground that has plenty of twigs. I immediately hold her cloak pulls her up until she faces me. Our eyes instantly met, my eyes, meeting green-hazelnut eyes. I gape on how mystical I felt towards her. Just as before I open my mouth to speak, she immediately pushes hard that makes me fall and it felt like the underground roots pull me down as she ran away just right after she was free from my grip without looking back.

I just lay down on the cold ground and sigh, thinking about how beautiful she looks. I felt my heart beating fast because of the run I made and because of the contact we make.

I sat up decided to head back when my eyes darted on the shinning stone. I took it, studying each stone on the bracelet. I am sure that these stones are antique or more like a luxury that worth billions in this world. Okay, I have this feeling that we are going to meet again.

I stood up smiles crazily, removing dirt from my clothes, and clench the broken bracelet. I can't help to sing loud, really loud that echoes in the woods. And it will probably hear by that angel that I just saw.

'I got this feeling, inside my bones. It goes electric wavy when I turned it on… And if you want it. Inside your soul… lalala-lala-lalalalala…'

I guess, she can hear me from far. I won't get worried about meeting not her again, because I will meet her again.

"Andrew, why did you run off that fast?" Marissa asked looking at the direction where I came from.

"Someone is peeking here, I am sure that it was from the other world."

Marissa's brow creased because of my mood. Like, hey, I was just cool and maybe I look happy. Happy? Well, yeah, happy. So she guessed it right. Well, it is all over her face.

"It's a girl, right?" she finally teases. And guess what, I didn't defend myself so she laughed, really, laugh. "I am glad that she doesn't beat you."

It was almost ten in the evening when I decided to grab some beer downtown. So I drove my really sweet car, smiling crazily as I keep flashing my mind on the beautiful maiden in the woods.

However, I can't stop thinking about what she's doing there. She was exactly looking over Marissa. If she's a threat, I can take good care of her. Really, good care. I would love kissing those plump lips of her, stare on those green-hazel-nut eyes…

I was just about to go on my deepest fantasy when someone in very fast motion, stopped in the middle of the road. Good thing that I automatically, hit the brakes. I look at the ugly back of the guy who's wearing all white clothes, from shirt to jeans with no shoes?

Damn, his feet are pale like the dead. Someone, this person seemed familiar. The man turned around and my jaw drops. It is a kid who died that makes my Adhiti traumatize. Paul. How is he alive? But he doesn't look alive. He looks soul-less, dead-dead-undead… I am not mistaken. It gives me goosebumps all over my body.

When I blink an eye, it just disappears.
