Beginning- Chapter One

I gently rest my head in my hand as I lie down on my bed texting my boyfriend, Mike. Mike and Me's relationship was slowly coming to a end, seeing as Mike would soon go to a school abroad. There would barley be any 'us'

time anymore. he paused for a moment, while typing, causing the typing loading screen on my phone to appear, text then pops up:

"I think we should break up"

I felt like I knew this was coming but didnt want to admit it, that there was barley anyway for us to keep in touch without one of us ending up hurt, might have as well been me.

"I'm fine with that."

I text back, obviously lying, i turn off my phone before he could text me anything else and chuck it to a near by couch . I feel my eyes well up with tears as my sight gets blurry, i try not to cry but I can't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks. I hear my phone buzz multiple times before it all stops, I grab a near by pillow from my bed and cuddle up to it. While I'm still sniffling I curl up my legs as a shiver feeling a breeze imidiatley hit my back . I grab my blanket from under me and pull it up and over my legs,feeling the warm blanket I slowly drift off to sleep.

When I awake I still feel groggy and try to continue sleeping but can't, so after a few minutes I stand up and let out a yawn, walking over to my bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash my face before actually taking a good look at my self and step back. I look at my grey, messy, wrinkled shirt first trying to brush it out but soon I give up moving down to my

exposed slender legs and floral printed short-shorts, I look at my face, my lips were in a beautiful slightly curved up 'm' and my bottom lip that was just as pink but slighty thinner. My nose which was arched perfectly with a button like finish, and my cheeks still slightly puffed and flushed red from crying last night. Giving them a innocent look. I then look at my eyebrows which were the same color as my chocolate colored hair, which had specks and strands of bright red hair in them. I focus on my eyes for a moment, seeing my pure, grassy green eyes with my dark black pupils made me get lost in them. I blink a couple of times before stepping back and walking out of the bathroom to go and get my phone which I through on the couch. When I unlock my phone, I see 3 text messages from Mike and 2 phone calls from both of my best friends each, Ivy and Violet. I first read the text messages from Mike before calling my friends back.

"that doesn't mean I dont want to be friends with you "

"I still want to be in your life Sara, never forget that. "

"please talk to me Sara "

I scoff at his response before sending him two pictures.

both of him kissing two different girls.

He doesn't read it yet so I decided to call back my friends. The phone rings for a few seconds before I hear Violets concerned voice over the phone. " Sara?? is that you? we were so worried about you whats wrong? Mike said that you two broke up, is that true? It doesnt matter, Were coming over right now! stay put okay? you can tell us the full story when we get there!" she cuts off the phone.

I giggle about how concerned she was, she sounded like my mom! I walk downstairs before pouring a bowl of cereal and eating it while on my phone, awaiting for the door bell to ring.
