20 Chapter 19: Thoughts

"U-Uhmm... what about C-Cadmus... W-Where he is?" I said, stuttering. I looked away.

Rheo looked at me and stood properly: forgetting that Topher bumped his abdomen.

His smile is strange, and it looks like he wanted to say something, but something is telling him not. I can't read his thoughts either.

“Hmm..”Rheo held his chin and looked up. I think he’s thinking? “I think he is busy with his girlfriend.”

Topher turned his gaze at Rheo. He frowned. He mouthed something to Rheo that I don't understand. But, wait. Does he have a girlfriend?

My eyes went wide when I realized. “G-Girlfriend?” Oh my, I’m dead!

“Why didn’t I know that?” Topher asked.

Rheo turned to him. He raised his eyebrows and smiled widely; I really find his smile strange.

"Don't you remember? He said that he has."

Topher thinks again when he looked up. A few seconds later, his eyes widened. There was a faint smile on his lips.

"Now I remember!" He announced.
