17 Chapter 16: Room

He chuckled. "You're looking for me?"

"Cadmus."

"Oh, is that her girlfriend?"

"I think it's his fiancé."

"We have no hope.”

"Maybe they’re just friends."

My lips parted when Cadmus wrapped his arms around my waist. I looked at him, but he just looked straight ahead. I followed where his eyes are.

He is looking at the two men, they have the same height as Cadmus. They looked like they were avoiding something and drinking the wine.

"Let's go." He said emphatically.

Many looked at us as we passed. I glanced at Cadmus, who did not seem to care if people talked about him or watched him.

Cadmus turned to me when he noticed that I was looking, and I looked away immediately. Cadmus is a tall man. It was as if I am looking at the pole because of its height, but he is not only a tall man. His body is in good shape even though he is still young.
