1 Return of the past

" What happened in Chicago," The voice said forcefully "002 , what happened?"

Trying to focus my tearful gaze, I looked up to meet the person's face but I failed repeatedly.They wanted to know everything about the past year that scarred my life and I promised myself not to bring up this topic ever again for mine and their safety.

A year ago ,but it was still fresh in my mind , I was going through all the mail like I always do.Nothing unusual but the last letter- different.It was a small light brown envelope. On it said Avaline Williams-my younger sister.

Gently, I opened the top so I don't damage the delicate paper. As I read it, picking out the most important information, I found out that it was from the Ghost Agency. She was accepted to join the new female spy squad.I return the letter to its original case. I looked just like before I opened it. Suddenly I hear a quiet cough. Instantly, it turned around.

"You got mail." Handing her the sealed envelope.

"You read it," she replied.I looked at her with bitterness. "Knew it !"

" When did you apply?"

"About a month ago."

"I have so many questions.Why did you apply? Why were you picked?"

"I guess they just rather someone younger" She turned around and smirked. That was the trigger ,I paced up the stairs and grabbed my keys, bag and phone plus my sister's letter that she left downstairs. I aimed for my car.

Fifteen minutes later ,I was at my destination.The Ghost Agency. Like a tornado I stormed through the crowd to the headquarters

"What the hell, Meghan." I screamed as I entered

"What a pleasure to see." She replied calmly

"Don't go pleasure to see me over here!" I carried on screaming "I worked here for three years now and what do I get in return for nothing!" All of sudden the flourishing angre disappeared and left me with sorrow.

"You feel better?" she asked consideringly "your sister knows you too well"

"Pardon?" the only word I managed to say under the coat of tears. Mrs. Middleton passed me a box of tissues

"I wanted to give you the letter in person however you took the day off. So your sister suggested that she will take her letter home and put in the mail. She knew you would read it because you applied and did not receive the letter but your sister did it would trigger you and make you come to work.Here is your letter, July Williams. Congratulation"

It looked just like Ava's letter but with my name on it.Although this said

Dear July Williams,

As the head of the Ghost Agency , I selected the best three agents to form the first female squad. You are one of the three ladies selected.This mission will take up to a year .During that time you train from Monday to Thursday and you'll have a free weekend. Your objective is to locate Shadow's base and eliminate their agents resulting in world peace.

Your sincerely , Brian Hills B.Hills

My dream was finally happening- I'm becoming the first female agent.I thanked Meghan and excused her for my behaviour earlier. She congratulated me once more and I set off home.

Ava was watching Elite on Netflix.At that moment I thought of the most wicked idea ever- wrap her blond hair around my fingers and pull real hard but I have morals and rules and that most definitely goes against them.
