Chapter 1

I'm Emily. Emily Wimbledon, the great grand daughter of Roland Wimbledon.

Ever since my father's funeral I've been thinking of the same words he said to me, and to read all the letters past down. Funny thing is, I don't even know where'd he put it!

Until recently, I found it under his sleeve in the least conspicuous suit he had, I should've known! the most craziest thing is how I look at the letters and look outside to see the entire city, staring in awe as I compare the notes to the present.

I look at all the notes written and seeing how accomplished my ancestors were makes me feel shame, having no achievements so far. The only thing that comforts me is the fact that they were way older than me, having more room to grow.

But why did dad put all this pressure on me?! Even when I was little he never gave me a chance to read the letters, only did he mention it briefly before shooing me out of the room.

One time I tried to sneak in to take a peak, but was found out and grounded. I don't blame him though, I was to immature to deal with this, even more finding out.

Now that I look at it, it feels like discovering a new world, what should I do now? This information can make a stir amongst the people, but that would just cause chaos.

"Your highness, do you need anything?"

A guard came in and asked Emily, snapping her from her thoughts.

"No, thank you!" Emily turned around and shined the brightest and most smile before politely turning around again.

"ba- hem.. " The guard blushed in a surprised way, as a new recruit, he knew the princess was beautiful and kind, but he didn't think it would be more majestic in person. He stuttered some more before saying

"Yes p-princess!" before slamming the door shut, trying to cover his face as he runs away.

"Ugh.. idiots" the princess made sure the guard was gone before making a grim face, continuing back to her thoughts. Should I call Bill and Alli? They were her two childhood friends, who always went exploring with her, getting in trouble too. They were as close as brothers and sisters, enjoying glory and pain together, never keeping secrets.

Well, it was more of Bill. Being the smartest man in the city has it's quirks. There were many times where other greedy people sought him out to advertise their universities or companies. Being the oldest he took care of us, always taking us to parties he was invited to, ones that try to temp him into going to their business, but we always protected him. Besides his outstanding studies, there's his face. Black hair and black eyes, paired with his glasses and the books he always carry ,there was that saying about how men are more attractive when serious. Bill is almost always serious which is sometimes a hassle because he is from a prestigious household, has good looks, and has high education and chance of inheriting his father's company, girls go crazy for him.

Alli however, is the cute one in our group. Besides being the youngest she could also be the lazy one in our group. Using her cute looks, she tricked many people into doing her bidding. I guess she just does it for enjoyment, because she is also from a rich family. I can truthfully say her schemes are harmless, as we only use it to lie through tough situations when we were caught during little.

Besides that, she also had fanboys fawning over her. Blond hair and green eyes, her smile makes people faint.

Besides them, there's me. And my brother, but he doesn't matter now.

I have the iconic silver hair, but my eyes are blue, which totally doesn't match with my ancestor's silver eyes. People often say I'm different, because none of my family members have blue eyes besides my brother. They say it also gives me a different look and makes me look more beautiful. Good thing they don't know how I was like when I was little. Besides that, my privilege as a princess gives me the right to go to anywhere in the castle. My experience in adventure and authority made us the greatest trio.
