Trying again

Three years later his Lordship wanted to try again for a girl but Lady Ravenwood St. Claire knew it would end in disappointment yet again. So one night when everyone in the household was asleep she snuck out, she wanted so much to bare a girl for him. She tried all people whom participate in the magic arts but none seemed to to be able to help. Her only hope was the last thing she wanted to do, which was to make a deal with a demon!

Her ladyship begged him to make her husband's wish come true, he told her that he would grant that wish but she had to offer something in return. Well you see Faith had an odd obsession with anything to do with owls, so her father wanted to make her birthday special by giving her the one thing she loved the most.I was still quite young, I still had some of my baby feathers, I was tame I had been well trained, oh I could fly but not that far, I had a glorious dark brown colour about my feathers, could almost say they were black and I have a speckle of white and gold at the tips of my wings.
