1 Hell

'Hell'

It's the only word that comes to the minds of the people who visit this once beautiful place which used to be covered with snow like a white blanket now dyed with red color with collapsed bodies covered in their own blood lying on the floor resembling living hell on the planet earth.

Whole field is filled with the sounds of terror, shouts and sounds of bullets all around.

People hiding behind rocks and trees trying to find their targets to shoot and kill and among all of them stood a girl behind a tree holding a rifle in her hands wearing a camouflage trousers and jackets with her waist length dark black hair tied in a bun hidden under her cap, blackish brown eyes resembling almonds, face so small and beautiful but covered with mud and small wounds was hiding behind a tree holding her rifle and emitting a cold and dangerous aura while commanding her team to follow her instructions which no one dared to disobey except one.

The guy from the same team as the girl disobeyed her orders and stepped out of the huge rock near to her while targeting their enemy and completed ignored the girls shouts behind him as he stepped forward to kill his target and as he shot the person infront of him he didn't observed that he was being targeted by other and before he could dodge there stood the girl infront of him pushing him aside and taking the bullet in his stead.

And at the very movement someone ordered her to stop from the voice translator connected to their ears but she still rushed to save her teammate ignoring the orders from her higher ups.

He started shouting at her and said "Aadvika, stop right there, otherwise you are going to be fired after this mission. "

The person shouting knows very well how important this field is to Aadvika so he tried to threaten her with his world but his words are all in vain.

As she didn't listen to him and started firing again at the people who was targeting her comrade until her rifle went out of bullets and in order to save her fellow comrade and everything happened so fast that others didn't got even a minute to analyze the situation and stop their captain from saving their teammate and from getting shot.

"captain" everyone shouted at her all at once and the person who disobeyed her orders stood there rooted for a second before collapsing infront of her with sorrow and guilt.

But no one dared to come out as there are enemies still surrounded them and with their captain injured the second in command ordered the team to finish the mission as fast as they can and with a plan they started shooting again and after ensuring that no one were left from the opposite direction they all came out running towards Aadvika.

After checking that there was still a pulse in her, everyone heaved a sigh of relief and shifted her along with a few other injured soldiers to the Army hospital.

"How is she?" everyone waiting outside the OR asked the doctor who operated on her with concern on their faces

"She is very lucky as the bullet has been shot very close to the heart and if any unfortunate event to happen, she might have been died by now but…" he was a little hesitant to speak further when he heard a cold voice coming from the corridor and everyone stood straight the movement, they saw the man coming towards their direction.

"Lieutenant General" everyone made a military salute to him in respect but the men in his forties stood stern as he looked towards the doctor asking him to continue

"Your daughter is very lucky to escape this time but her body is not suitable for heavy and pressured work in the future so I hope Mr. Martin to pursue your daughter to resign from the army she can't be shot in the same place a second time it will be very risky to save her if this happens again in the future" surgeon told him with a low and fearful voice as he looked at the man emitting cold and dangerous aura around him.

"I got it, I will follow your instruction" Martin accepted the fact long back and with a sign he spoke "can I see her?"

"She was under anaesthesia and it will take some time for her to gain her consciousness I hope you can wait till we shift her to the ICU"

"I understand" Martin nodded his head as he took his mobile to call someone.

After being hospitalized and in a partial coma for four days Aadvika woke up being surprised by her surroundings. She might have expected to see all her comrades and her superiors surrounding her but instead she saw her parents and her brother Dakshith near her bed watching her with concern and grief.

'How come they came to know that I was injured and hospitalized' Aadvika thought to herself again she looked stunned as realisation hit her and she looked surprised at her brother as if asking him 'how did you know that I was here, who the hell told you that I was working in Military'

But she didn't dare to ask the question as she knew how sad they will be especially her brother for hiding such a huge matter which deals with life and death.

Yes, you are guessing right her family doesn't know that she joined in the military because her godfather who treats her like his own family helped Aadvika from behind to enroll herself in Military and everyone in the field knows her as his daughter and no one knows her real identity.

Lieutenant General Martin Nicolas liked Aadvika very much and he always treats her like his own daughter. And even she respects him a lot and never disobeys his orders but today it was different for the first time she disobeyed him and got herself in trouble.
