Chapter 11: Chloe and Yukie

It was a bright morning and I woke up as plain-sprited as usual.

"I wonder if I can pass the test today..."

I did my usual chores around the house and necessary hygiene and afterwards going out to buy ingredients for dinner.

After I returned, I went a prepared breakfast when all of the sudden a weird memory started seeping into my brain.

It has been exactly 5 months since my repeated fails at the Yanagikage test, I am slowly getting my stats raised along with my proficiency with the Kishin perk.

I was rushing towards the hospital since today was very, VERY big day.

"How could I actually forget!?"

It was my mom's due date and she is about to give birth to my twin sisters and I need to get there ASAP when all of a sudden a black cat hopped down and stood in front of me.

"Damn! DAmn! DAMN! why is there a black cat in my way!"

I was a man with little patience so I scared the cat away and continued on to the hospital.

The cat gave me a "Hiss" as I went by it, quite ominous but all cats are cute so I don't mind.

"Oh! Hello Raiko-?!"

A old lady who I always bought from greeted me but I simply zoomed past her and gave her a quick greeting.

"Mornin' Old Kiya!"

She stared at me running towards the distance and I heard her murmur.

"My what an energetic child"

I went past several people that I was usually talking with whenever I bought supplies and they all greeted me and I greeted back in a hurry.

I went to the hospital and for all I know Hirashi-Jiji,Tobi-Sama and some of their relatives that were close with mom are all standing near the room where my mom was supposed to give birth.

"Am I late?!"

They all looked at me and shook their heads as they stared into the door.

I stopped and before I was worried I jumped and tried kicking Hirashi-Jiji is the face, he blocked it effortlessly but I used that as a step to try and land a hit at Tobi-Sama which was evaded and I ended up crashing into a wall.

"Damn..."

Baby Tsunade started laughing and the rest of them also laughed.

"You think you'll pass the test with those weak blows?"

I growled at Tobi-Sama and stood up before standing with them while fidgeting and staring at the door.

"Is it fast?"

Hashirama started closed his eyes and held both his arms to his chest he then told me to sit quietly and don't lose to panic.

It took a while but the nurses finally went out and told them that the twins were born and "they" were healthy.

I hurried inside to see my siblings but Tobi-Sama and Hashi-Jiji formed a deep and grim expression.

I was half expecting them to shout "How cute" as a gag some time soon so I ignored it.

The cry of my twin sisters was reverberating throughout the room and I held them both and placed them near mom.

"Hey mom look they're cute right? Kuu-hee one has pure black hair like you and the other has white? Is that from dad?"

I continued saying gibberish but the face of the nurse was turning grimmer and grimmer, I was getting weirded out and I continued my joyful time but-

"Hashirama... The kid can sense it right?"

Hashirama only frowned and took Tsunade in his arms and whispered something.

"Be a good girl to Raiko okay? He's gonna have it tough"

My ears twitched and then a certain feeling slapped me like the palms of a sumo wrestler, my mind flew straight into armageddon and my eyes widened.

I bit my lips and it started bleeding, my grip tightened and my hands were sore, my chest was beating and my head felt empty and blank.

I grew silent and stared at my sisters before I placed them near my mom and knelt down in horror.

"Mom?...What did you...name them?"

It was then that I swallowed my fear and looked on my mom's face, I didn't want to because deep down I knew already before I even went near her, all the ominous signs but I still denied it with the belief that God won't be so cruel to me but.

She was already dead with a smile on her face.

My own heartbeat was beating loudly that it overtook my sense of hearing and I felt a certain part of me that was clinging unto the last bit of love I know drop into a void.

I couldn't cry, no, I didn't want to cry.

It won't do anything and it will only make me feel worse.

'So in the end, I still lose them don't I?'

Back in my old world, I still had my parents and I was fairly close with them, only in this world do I have to witness the death of both my parents who did NOTHING wrong.

'Is my life really just misfortune on top of each other?'

I was in what you would call a crisis, I would kill both my sisters right now if the others weren't here.

My hands were slowly creeping into their heads and tears were flowing from my eyes.

Tobirama was about to stop me before I did anything but Hashirama stopped him and they kept watching me suffer.

But there was one thing that I missed over all my doubts and anger.

My tears weren't for me... The thought that my sisters would grow up without a mother and a father hit me harder and my hands instead of smashing their heads, went and hovered near their noses.

I stared at my sisters and smiled wryly at them, poking their cute little noses.

"You will be Yukie because of your white hair...and you will be Chloe because of your black hair"

The nurse that was seeing a brother build up killing intent for his sisters twitched tapped me on the shoulders.

She offered me to take them to a crib for the time being and I nodded but before that I bumped my forehead lightly with my sisters.

"Remember the sensation of your brother's head ok? You better laugh the next time I do this"

Hashirama walked near me and asked me if I wanted to cremate or bury her.

"Bury her, she'd shout in heaven for turning her into ashes"

I smiled at them with the best of my capabilities and headed towards the Yanagikage estate.

The old man who's name was Hage knew that I was feeling a down and when he asked, my only reply was.

"What's the worth of a life?"

His eyes widened and took a deep breath.

"Worth of a life you say? It's something brittle but at the same time precious"

I tilted my head slightly as we walked towards the maze.

"You see kid, for us Yanagikage life is simply taken from others and lost for us but above all we never give our own lives importance for we can simply lose it as fast as we kill"

'He's clearly off the topic...but oh well~'

"Instead we give our lives to others that are important for us such as our loved ones, some wealth, some power and for some knowledge"

I continued listening and smirked a bit as I got the gist of what he wants to say.

"So basically, I value those who are close to me rather than my life?"

Hage nodded and as we stood to the maze he pushed me without my consent and I stepped inside but to his shock I didn't even flinch at the activated a trap and I just walked fluidly into the maze.

"Dear... What happened.."

His eyes widened as he saw me dodge every single trap with no unnecessary movements and occasionally I wouldn't activate any of the traps.

I continued and before I knew it I was already at the end of the maze as a slight drop of tear flowed from eyes to the ground.

I looked upwards and what I saw was the sky, the maze was underground but who would know that after finishing it you'll be able to see the sky?

I sighed and looked towards the old man Hage.

"5 months eh? Don't get cocky kid, the real hardship will just begin and it took you 5 months."

He was walking toward me through the same maze but all he did instead of dodging them was use chakra and run on top of the walls.

"Sure, you were flashy with the dodges and shit but kid the real lesson of this was to use your brains and find the single weakness of this maze which was that all the traps were aimed to kill kids and thus the height only went up to 3 feet."

My eyes were twitching and all the grief I had disappeared into annoyance.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! THAT'S ALL I NEEDED TO DO?!"

"I would've failed you again but since you DID reach the end...I guess, you pass with half points"

I dropped to my knees and laid to the ground.

'I wonder if my sister's would have the Holy Trinity when they grow up? Kuu-hee'

Old man Hage looked at me and pounded my head.

I'd do anything to wipe the seemingly smug tone in her laugh.

Hage went upstairs and there I saw kids my age practicing stuff.

They all had white hair and most of them had beauty marks in their faces.

"Do...all Yanagikage have beauty marks?"

Hage looked at me and enlightened me with his knowledge

When all of the sudden and man approached me and I felt uneasy amount of intent from his so I dodged accordingly.

But as soon as I evaded it he threw a left fist at me and made me fly high, I tried flipping to land with balance but he appeared behind me and crushed my body with both his knees an elbows making me gasp for air.

"Hmph"

He dared "Hmph" me so I took all the effort I could and spun to perform a reverse tornado kick, by george I succeeded and I managed to hit him in the...arms.

As I crashed to the ground he laughed and helped me up.

"You're average, some kids in this place made me bleed ya' know?"

It was like rubbing salt in to my broken bone, it didn't do shit but it was still quite annoying.

"Welcome to the Yanagikage Special Training Association, I hear you'll be here until you can go to the academy at age 6?"

I nodded and he patted my back quite aggressively he had a black konoha head band on his head but he was wearing a black chinese kung fu uniform and had the regular chinese looking flat shoes, in other words this guy was chinese.

"I'll be training here solely here for 4 years then, thanks for having me"
