Chapter 1: Average Rai

I died... Me, Arthur Fitzgerald a normal average fan of Anime died.

How? While obsessively doing my lotion wanking at a photo of some Konoha Kunoichi, I tripped and bumped my head to the table which shook my water bottle and spilled it's contents into the electrical socket buzzing me to death by mere chance.

Now, I find myself at a bed below an unfamiliar ceiling.

It took me 26 seconds to realize where I was and after the realization, I shouted so loud our orphanage owner kicked the walls and told me to shut up.

I mean seriously though, I got transported into the the Naruto Universe!

I wonder what bloodline or kekkei genkai I have?

Perhaps a Dojutsu or a Clan specific jutsu like the Akimichi's or something!?

...

But a few weeks later, I came to the conclusion that I was nothing but a background character named Rai.

I was an ordinary son of an ordinary man who dumped me over to an orphanage because raising a child was expensive, especially since the kyuubi attack just passed apparently.

No Byakugan, Sharingan, Rinnegan, Tensaigan, Jougan.

No Lava, Wood, Ice, Particle, Acid, Steam, Bone kekkei genkai.

No Senjutsu, Kenjutsu, Fuinjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu and Ninjutsu talent.

Nothing...absolutely useless, I am.

I even tried challenging the big bad bully to see if I'll awaken anything but I was just beaten into a lfat bread.

"What is this?"

I punched the wall to relieve a fraction of my Biju level stress.

"Why transport me to this world as a useless background character with no special any bloody fucking thing?!"

I then continued punching the miserable wall and after a while, I thought that even if I'm useless maybe I can do something else and asked for the swing Naruto is fond of, people thought I was gonna mess with him or something so they warned me that he was a dangerous demon.

"Of course I knew that ass-hags"

I walked for a bit and sure it was, Naruto Uzumaki in the flesh staring into the distant and extremely upset.

"Hey, blondie!"

Naruto looked at me a squinted for a bit.

"W-what?!"

I scratched my head and prayed that this won't mess stuff up.

"You seem lonely, like, suffocatingly lonely"

Naruto glared at me for a bit

"So what about it? I don't need your pity because when I become Hokage everyone's gonna recognize me! dattebayo"

I smirked crouched beside him.

"I'm sure they will and for your information I came here to be friends with you, no ulterior motives promise!"

I held out my pink finger.

"R-really?! Hehe! Sure!"

He didn't think twice, he took my pinky and got won over by the fuzzy excitement of someone becoming his friend, honestly what a bright and gullible smile that is.

"Let's be bros at arms from now on ok?"

"Sure let's have lots of fun! dattebayo"

Everything went as it should be for the timeline, pretty much what should be expected from a minor interference by some useless background character

Aside from me being part of his pranks here and there and also with the villagers calling me weird names such as flea kid or demon leech, everything is at it should be.

Heck I could drop down dead right here, right now and Naruto would still be Naruto but with my life as his backstory or some shit.

Although I have no plans for dying at the moment, Since I decided to live this life out as something somehow, It was now the day where a fated meeting between soulmates happens.

"It's snowing huh?"

Naruto looked at me like 'Duh captain obvious' or something along the lines.

"Hey Rainiki! Let's play outside!"

"It's drop dead cold outside, you go on your own maybe you'll find someone...err interesting"

"Fine! Whatever! I'm going to Ichiraku then!"

And there he went zooming along and headed to, if my memory is right, where Hinata is being bullied.

"Still... Rainiki? How long has he been calling me that?"

A poor mix of names and honorific, Aniki since I'm older than Naruto by a year or two and Rai my shitty name.

"Now that I think about it, it's actually fitting for a below-than-filler-character like me!"

I went and got bored waiting in the swing and decided to go find Naruto in the...place where things need to go right, you see if Naruto happens to not save Hinata from her bullies the events leading to Pain would be quite unpredictable.

"I need her to love Naruto as it is in the series and sacrifice herself fro Naruto in the future, destroying his kyuubi seal and lead to the events dubbing him as the hero of Konoha and push him to befriend Kurama.

I went hot on their trails and a few minutes later I find Naruto talking to a tomato.

"Oh wait t'was Lady Hinata, apologies NaruHina fanbase"

Suddenly someone came calling for Hinata and Naruto zoomed away again.

I got a little confused and tilted my head at this unknown interference.

"Huh...? Did this happen in the series? Is this me and my memory shortage? Anyways gotta go before I mess something up with my extremely out of placed presence!"

Soon after that first "sign", my own set of fate finally started to shift.
