1 World Background

The earth we live in experienced many changes as the world progresses throughout the 21st century.

The rapid developments of mankind continued throughout the 22nd century. As mankind prospered they dreamt of a way to colonise other planets. The search for a suitable evergreen planet continued while they stationed themselves in pockets throughout the Solar System. The ever increasing technology made the Earthlings wonder whether they could control the distance from the Moon and the Sun. In a horrible experiment gone wrong they deviated the path of the orbit of the Moon and the Earth around the Sun.

Left with no choice they had embark on a journey with spaceships trying to find a planet for the survival of the race. They teleported through space in those advanced spaceships for years before reaching a planet they named Evergreen. The wear and tear of the spaceships made it impossible for them to continue to other planets.

The teleportation landing was on a remote place. The original population of close to 15 billion had been reduced to 80 million. The exotic plants and fruits made them ecstatic as well as scared for they could tell by the size of the plants as well as the strange energy in the air these planet might be dangerous even though they could breathe well here. The people with illnesses gradually recovered, the old were filled with vitality and the youth got more energetic in the first few days of their landing. The robots and image sensors that got out of the spaceship never worked on the planet. They were unable to search for inhabitants and dared not venture away from their safe harbor.

The fruits and plant samples gave a huge surprise to the scientists on board. They discovered it containing strange energy fluctuations that were present in the air around them. The peace lasted for a week before they came across the first local inhabitants.

Leading them was a handsome male whose face made many females faint even they gazed at him. It looked artistic making the man believe such a creation should not exist, had he been on earth he would been the favorite boy toy. He had two pointy ears protruding out from his green hair. The slender figure walked with majesty that men felt not fitting with girlish face. The figures following him were handsome as well but they just served more as background to highlight his beauty.

The language he spoke was completely foreign to the humans but discussions did not last long when one of the military started shooting. The ambush was successful eliminating the majority of those who came but the plasma bullets disappeared when they came close to him.

He was angered seeing the bodies of his friends and tribesman killed in front of him. Magical Energy swirled around him as he attacked those who have killed his companions for no reason. The attack ensued a conflict between the parties which resulted in his death. The Earthlings were nervous upon seeing him capable of summoning fire out of thin air. The panic was spread among them knowing that killing off the indigenous people on the planet would be extremely difficult. The search for a solution was proposed by the scientists when they examined the bodies of the elves they found their blood was an essence of nature. Their bodies seemed to be made up of energy. The elves were unlike their human counterparts so the only solution was to find a way to cultivate like in the legends of their planet Earth.

The martial artists came up with ways with the help of scientists to develop their bodies in a way where they could cultivate. The conflict did escalate with the local elves fighting it out and magical beasts hunting many humans.

The earthlings fought hard as they focused more on cultivation rather than on science and technology. The battles were vigorous and as they learned of beings similar to them (the original humans of the planet) they exchanged information and culture learning the ugly truth of the planet. The humans were the bottom of the hierarchy with elves along with beastman ruling the planet. The dwarves were at the middle hierarchy. The humans had a companions such as gnomes and goblins along with other smaller races in the bottom hierarchy. They had to scrap for survival in the midst of magical beasts. In fact, in cruel terms they can be said to be the livestock of magical beasts as they hoped to find a way to live another day. This was the fate of the race that had ruled a planet for hundreds of years since it came to existence.

The hard days continued for the Earthlings as they joined forces with the aboriginal humans and fought various small tribes of the elves. The cultivation techniques helped them survive by making their bodies stronger and the first sect of the human race was established as Ancient Phoenix Sect, signifying the nature of their arrival on the planet. The medium and larger elf tribes paid no heed for they felt it was beyond their dignity to fight with those lower life forms. In addition to the fact, that the elves were composed of many tribes such as flower elves, moon elves, shadow elves, dark elves, fairy elves and forest elves, with the forest faction being the one with the highest population and the biggest empire of them all. The human had fought only forest elves realizing they cannot conflict with the other subspecies of the elves.

The beastman were not much better off in the sense of unity. The beastman did not have the traditional pointy ears or the delicate skin of the elves but rather their bodies were composed of features that were the combination of both human and magical beasts. They were proud of their looks and disgusted to be associated with either human or the beasts.

The two largest empires were led by the tigermen and lionmen, with the help of the foxmen and the owlmen as advisers to the two leading factions. There were few who did not want to take part in these politics and stayed from the conflict between the two subspecies such as the swanmen.

The inner conflicts between the two largest tribes helped pave the way for survival in the dog eat dog planet for them. The Ancient Phoenix sect helped the human race a foothold on the planet though the resources they managed to obtain were exceeding scarce. The sect protected the humans as guardians while the other races launched attacks fearing that they will grow stronger. The wisdom of the humans allowed them to survive the war but the Ancient Phoenix sect was destroyed and other sects managed to pop up in the environment to assume the role of guardians.

The war lasted until the elves and beastman realized it was not worth it to fight with them for the amount of resources that were present in the place. Other such locations were also gained in the course of history allowing the human race to have enough dignity to live and improving their hierarchy in the racial structure of the planet.
