It's been a while, Little one

For the next few days, Su Yeon got completely busy. Manager Lui took Manager Kang's permission to let Su Yeon assist her for few days. Just like Su Yeon, all the other interns got busy.

Because of work and meetings, Su Yeon couldn't join Ye Jin for the lunch, so she missed the growing friendship of Ye Jin and Manager Han Jiang.

Han Jiang first approached Ye Jin to take out the information. Later, unknown to him, he liked to spend time with Ye Jin. He completely forgot that he has to find about Su Yeon, VP Song and his secretary for his friend.

On one fine day, when Su Yeon was coming from meeting with Manager Lui, she bumped into a man. Due to this, he dropped his phone. Su Yeon apologized to him and picked up his mobile from the ground.

While picking up, she accidentally saw a message saying,

'Continue following Doctor Lufan'

Apparently, he sent this to someone. She apologized once again innocently but fear started building in her heart.

Su Yeon had a rough idea that Brother Lufan must be involved in the underworld. She looked back at the man and something caught her attention. There was a tiny spade-shaped tattoo behind his year. 'I have to inform brother Lufan… but how?' she thought.

Just then, Manager Lui came beside her, "Intern Yoon…" "Huhh?" Su Yeon was startled. Manager Lui said, "I am going to meet my assistant. Yesterday I got to know that he has been admitted due to food poisoning. Do you want to join?"

Su Yeon nodded and followed Manager Lui. They reached their destination within few minutes. Su Yeon saw the name of the hospital, 'Life Hospital' and thought, 'Ohh… isn't this the same Life Hospital where Ming wanted to practice? Hmm… seems top-notch hospital.'

They went inside. Manager Lui greeted her assistant and Su Yeon passed the fruit basket while introducing herself. When they were talking, Su Yeon got a call from the office so she went out.

Just a couple of seconds later, a doctor came inside for a regular check-up. Mr. Assistant welcomed him and introduced him to Manager Lui, "Boss, this is Dr. Wang Lufan, my doctor, and Doctor, this is my boss, Manager Lui."

Manager Lui liked Dr. Wang Lufan's polite and gentle attitude. She commented, "If the doctors here are this handsome, I can get myself admitted happily."

Mr. Assistant shook his head, "Boss, you are already happily married with kids." Manager Lui gritted her teeth and pinched him, "Do you really have to mention it now?"

Dr. Wang Lufan chuckled. He replied while doing the regular check-up, "Manager Lui, you indeed look younger than your age." He then checked the IV line, medicines and asked few questions.

After he was done, he bid farewell with a smile. When he opened the door, he froze…

Manager Lui and her assistant got confused. Mr. Assistant asked, "What happened doctor… Ohh Intern Yoon, why are you standing there? Come inside."

Both of them saw that Dr. Wang Lufan and Su Yeon were shocked seeing each other. Manager Lui asked, "Intern Yoon, do you know Dr. Wang Lufan?"

Su Yeon came inside slowly. She wanted to reply but the words were stuck in her throat. While looking at Wang Lufan, she noticed the nurse behind him was starting them suspiciously.

When Su Yeon was going to say something, she noticed the nurse more eager to know what will happen right now.

'Is she that person? Brother Lufan is being tracked so closely…' she thought while looking at Dr. Wang Lufan and the nurse.

Fortunately, Dr. Wang Lufan caught those micro-expressions on her face. He creased his forehead and squinted his eyes as if he wanted her confirmation. Su Yeon sighed inwardly when she saw that Lufan already had an idea about it. She gave an almost invisible nod.

Once getting the confirmation, he said with an indifferent face, "Bad luck, my surprise... just got ruined,"

For a second, Su Yeon got confused but decided to play along and questioned, "Were you planning to give a surprise visit? Do you think I am still a high school student?" and they both started laughing.

Looking at everyone's confused face, Dr. Wang Lufan said, "Ahh sorry. Actually, we know each other since childhood," he continued while ruffling her hair, "We are family friends, so she is just like a little sister to me, it's been a while Little one."

Su Yeon got annoyed, "Ahhh Brother, please. Don't ruin my hair! We are in front of my boss, and of course, it's beeeeen while right."

Manager Lui and her assistant laughed looking at the bickering friends. Meanwhile, the nurse got startled, 'they were supposed to ignore each other intentionally! This doesn't seem right; I have to report it.'

Manager Lui then decided to leave since they have to reach the office. She and Su Yeon bid farewell to Mr. Assistant and went outside. Dr. Wang Lufan also followed them to the exit.

When they were going through the corridor, Dr. Song Hao called him, "Dr. Wang, we neet to…" and paused as he saw Lufan happily talking with Su Yeon. This was totally unexpected for him.

Su Yeon looked at him and waved, "Hello Dr. Song Hao!" Manager Lui raised her brow and whispered in her ear, "Do all of your friends are these handsome?" Su Yeon nodded proudly.

Dr. Wang asked, "Ohh? How do you know him?" Su Yeon replied, "His younger brother is my classmate." Dr. Wang nodded, "Right, Qiang is also in the Imperial Business University."

Su Yeon thought, 'Wait, what does it mean Qiang is also in my college? did he already know that I study there…' but didn't ask.

Dr. Song greeted with a confused face, "Hi," and looked at Dr. Wang for the explanation.

Before he asks anything, Dr. Wang said, "Right, she is the Little One I was talking about. I wanted to surprise her, but she did instead." Dr. Song Hao was not convinced but still nodded and smiled.

Su Yeon reminded, "Brother Lufan, since your surprise is ruined, come home A.S.A.P.! Else I will complain to uncle. You will surely get an earful then, huhh."

Dr. Wang pinched her nose and agreed, "Ok ok, I will. Now you should go, bye." Su Yeon waved at both the doctors and left with Manager Lui.

On the other hand, someone couldn't resist the tears and wanted to join them desperately…
