After completely stocking the shop and adding some reserves to the basement floor, he took out all the books he had that were possibly applicable and began working on the defence design.

The main defence system on the shop was set up as outer, mid, and inner layers. The outer layer consisted of the metal plating that he planned to put over the walls and a concealment array meant to conceal it. The mid-layer interconnects the outer and inner sections and consists of the inner walls. The inner layer is mainly made of various restrictions and surface shielding arrays on the glass counters as well as a few shielding arrays to protect the clerks should anything happen.
For the most part, the main process would just be stacking a bunch of consolidating and strengthening arrays along with an illusion array or two, setting up a few turrets, and slapping a bunch of seals and restrictions everywhere on the inside.
The roof was a different story though. On the roof, he planned to build a large shield generator concealed by a few illusion arrays. Shield generators were more effective than normal shielding arrays because they were compounded with rune plates spinning around constantly forming and reforming different shielding arrays. This effect causes the shields to have a layering effect and a much better effect on dissipating any impacts on it. The only disadvantage was that they were immensely more complex, consumed a large amount of energy to operate, and that they had a tendency to produce large amounts of heat, especially when being hit with attacks.
To resolve the issue with producing too much heat he designed another machine to absorb and transform the heat into a more usable form of energy. Taking another look at the roof, he added in another final shielding array surrounding the shield generator.

There are 4 multi-use inscriptions that can store spiritual energy. They can be changed either manually or by spirit stones.
There is a multi-use inscription that can receive the location of another wearing a robe as long as it is within 500km. To be used two or more robes must be tuned to a general frequency. There is another multi-use inscription that can be used to transmit your location to the location receiving inscriptions of others wearing the robes as long as they are tuned and within 500km. The last inscription is for temperature normalising.
