6 Ch 6: The journey begins.

Early next morning, Ryan's family woke up early. After breakfast, both Lambert and Sally put on their coats for going out and after packing their luggage, the three got into the car together.

Ryan looked at Sally in the passenger seat in surprise and asked: "Mom, aren't you going to work today ?"

"It's the first time in your life that you're leaving home to go to a boarding school, so I asked for leave today to see you off." Said Sally with a smile.

There was a traffic jam as usual on Sunday, so when they arrived at King's Cross Station, it was already around 10:15.

According to Mr. Arthur's reminder, they arrived between the ninth platform and the tenth platform.

When they got here, Ryan discovered that there were more than a dozen pillars, and they didn't know which pillar lead to platform number 9¾.

You can't hit them all, one by one, it would be stupid.

Fortunately, there is still more than half an hour before the departure, and they still have enough time to find the platform.

Five minutes later, when everyone was a little anxious, a voice that sounded a little timid echoed from the side.

"I will remember to write a letter every week and let the owl bring it to you."

"I hope you don't forget, Neville."An old woman sighed.

After hearing this conversation, Ryan's eyes lit up and followed the voice. He saw a serious-looking old lady and a round-faced boy, wearing black robes that were out of line with the surroundings, pushing a luggage cart and walking over.

Ryan pulled the corner of Mr. Lambert's clothes, then pushed up the trolley and followed the pair.

"Hello, madam, I am a freshman at Hogwarts. Now I was looking for a way to go to platform number nine and three-quarters. But I couldn't find where that platform is ?"

"freshman?" The old lady smiled and pointed to the boy next to her.

"My grandson. Neville is also a freshman this year, you should come here, it is your first time so be attentive."

After that old lady said to the two children: "As long as you head straight into that pillar between the 9 and 10 station you'll reach there, Just go straight, rush in, don't stop, don't be afraid, and you'll pass straight through it. If you are nervous, you can run."

Then the old lady turned to Ryan's family: "Muggles can't go to that platform, so you will have to say your goodbye right here. But don't worry, I will accompany the two children in."

After hugging his parents and comforting his mother whose eyes were raining tears, Ryan rushed to the pillar on the platform with his cart. As soon as he approached the wall, Ryan closed his eyes nervously.

But the feared collision did not occur, and he continued to push the cart forward. Opening his eyes, he saw a steam locomotive stopped by the platform crowded with passengers. The sign on the train said: Hogwarts Express, 11 o'clock.

Water vapor filled the platform, and owls and people's voices were heard in the fog, and cats of all kinds standing near people's feet.

Soon, Neville and his grandma also came in from the pillar, and the first few carriages were already full of people. The old lady took the two children and found an empty compartment in the backside of the train.

After Ryan and Neville got in, Mrs. Longbottom helped them put their luggage with a floating spell. After admonishing Neville, she slowly walked into the white mist and disappeared.

"Your grandma is a bit harsh, but she loves you very much." Ryan said to Neville.

"Maybe, but I'm still afraid of my grandma.

After a while, a loud whistle sounded, and the train started moving. Ryan watched the trees and houses flash by the window, and a sense of excitement emerged in his heart. He knew that this time he was no longer just a bystander in the legend, but a participant in the story.

Because Neville was a bit shy, the two of them fell into the cold silence after introducing each other. When he was confused about how to strike a conversation, Ryan suddenly discovered that a huge toad, of the size of the palm of an adult, was trying hard to squeeze out from the crack in the door.

Ryan immediately rushed to catch Toad. Neville was surprised when he saw it and said, "I obviously put Trevor in my bag, how did it run out again ?"

Using this toad as an icebreaker, the two began to chat slowly. After chatting, the two people discovered that they had a lot in common. For example, both of them are the only children in the family, and they are not raised by their biological parents. But the people who raised them love them.

We were chatting enthusiastically when suddenly the door of the compartment opened. A little brown-haired girl asked, "Is there any seat free here... Ryan, you are here."

It turned out to be Hermione Granger. She was a little late, so she couldn't find a seat in the front compartments.

After the three introduced each other, Hermione asked Neville curiously: "You were born into a magic family. There must be a lot of magic used in your daily life. Unlike us, we can only learn some little magic by ourselves at this time before school starts."

"No, it's not like that."Neville replied, "My grandma didn't let me touch my wand at all before I was 11 years old. They always think that if children use the wand too early, bad things will happen. Even though I have one now. I can't use magic, and I feel like I'm still too stupid."

"No, you are not."Hermione and Ryan said in unison. Then Hermione made a please gesture. Ryan cleared his throat and said: "It is wrong for you to identify yourself this way. I think your low self-esteem and external pressure have affected your study. As long as you can make a reasonable plan, and stick to it, continue to practice it repeatedly. Even if it's mag..... it should work the same."

After speaking, Ryan pointed to Hermione; "I went to a school with her. In fact, her learning talent is much better than mine. But I followed a good study plan and repeatedly practiced, and eventually, my final exam score was better than her score. So work hard and you will be fine. When we finally start studying in school, I think we can help each other and improve together."

After filling Neville with a lot of chicken soup for the soul, Neville looked a little bit better than before. Three people began to exchange a few of their experiences.

Ryan looked at Hermione and found that she didn't seem to be as arrogant and defiant as on the train as she was portrayed in the movie. Ryan thought this might be because, in the original story, Hermione came to the magical world alone. For an 11 -year-old girl, leaving a familiar environment and familiar people to go to a completely unfamiliar place, she will definitely feel lonely and scared. Then it is inevitable to use arrogance to add a layer of disguise to hide your fear.

At noon, the three people bought some food from the witch who sold snacks in the train. After filling his stomach, maybe because he got up too early in the morning and was too excited afterward, Ryan fell asleep leaning on the seat for a while.

Long after this, Ryan woke up and found that the sun was about to set outside, and they should be reaching school soon. Ryan saw that Hermione and Neville were both asleep in their seats, so he stepped forward to shake them up.

After the three people took turns changing their clothes in the compartment, the speed of the train slowed down, and it seemed that it was indeed about to reach Hogwarts.

"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage in the train and we will take it to the school for you."The voice echoed on the train.

It seems that there is no need to pull that dead suitcase by yourself, which is really good news.

Is this the magic world? even though Ryan has read and seen this in his previous life, he was still very nervous. It feels as if his whole stomach is going haywire.

He turned his head and found that Hermione was scratching her hair a little nervously, and Neville's face was pale.

The train stopped slowly, the door opened, and the three jumped out of the train together. Finding themselves on a small platform, and the students squeezed to occupy the entire platform.

Suddenly, a ding sound played in Ryan's head

- Savior has failed to meet his team on the train due to the owner's influence, you have obtained an Offset point.

what? Ryan was stunned by the system's notification, which meant that if he wants to get more offset points, he needs to do things at Hogwarts to change the plot. It seems that his life at Hogwarts is not going to be so peaceful anymore.
