14 The Ram

The Mutated Hyena has survived from the weight of the Mutated bear, yet it was gravely injured. It tried to stand but failed, then it whimpered for some seconds before it tried to stand and succeeded.

Elias watched it as they eye each other before the Mutated Hyena looked at the White Goat that was at the other end of the Island, almost falling into the water. From all evidence, it was terrified and had been thinking of jumping off the Island.

Elias thought about saving his Goat. He wanted to pick it off together with his chest away during the fight but, since the Mutated Hyena was injured, he will fight it and save his Goat from the terrible fate of dying.

He put his chest down and held his Wand. He quickly entered the shop and selected Tangible items. Among the list are.

~Pelt of Mutated Bear.

~Bones of Mutated Bear.

~Teeth of Mutated Bear.

~Flesh of Mutated Bear.

~Blood of Mutated bear.

~Claws of Mutated Bear.

~Tendons of Mutated Bear.

~Intestine of Mutated Bear.

The list goes on, each and every organ of the dead Mutated Bear was listed there. After that, then the usual list of rock, sand, grasses and water. But there was something peculiar, something he was hoping to see.

~Cursed liquid.

The cursed liquid was the fluid that oozed out from that Cursed Flesh. Since it is kept in his Cursed Chain Chest he believes it will continue to ooze it and it may be listed among Tangible Items.

There are 2 litres of the liquid and he can buy 10 centilitres for +1 point. 

Elias quickly purchased 10 centilitres and then an option appeared. 

[Where did you want to drop the liquid?] 

He was about to point at the Hyena when he saw it wanting to jump away with fright. 

At the same time, a massive Ram appeared out of nowhere and rammed into the Mutated Hyena. The crash was so strong that the head of the Mutated Hyena was shattered, its brain flew everywhere and blood flowed out from the head.

Elias froze in place as he watched the Ram. It has a white sparkling coat and its eyes gleamed with intelligence. 

The danger he felt from it was ten times from both Mutated Bear and Mutated Hyena that are dead. 

On the sand, the Island wrote

<You have not shown any killing intent toward it. Stop looking at it or it will feel offended.>

Reading that Elias couldn't help but try to look away. But he takes a side glance to see what the Ram was doing. 

The Ram was looking at him with a cunning glint in his eyes.

Then the Ram looked at the two corpses. It moves to where water is and dranks some of it, then it goes back where the two corpses are and excrete. The moment the excretion fell on the blood of the two beasts, something mystical happened.

The two bodies started to decay fast. In just two minutes only bones were left. They too degraded and turned to white dust, merging with the Island.

A cooling wind blew on the Island, grasses and tree saplings began to germinate visibly to the naked eye. 

One of the trees grows one meter and bears five fruits. The scent of the Island changes to one that is calm and soothing to the body and soul. Elias felt compelled to eat one but then he looked at the Ram that was eying him.

The Ram moved about, cycling his three trees before it sat down at the far end of the Island watching both Elias and his trees.

Elias fell on his fat ass and sighed. What was happening was beyond his normal function of his brain cells.

About an hour later, Elias was in a dilemma, he knew those fruits were good but he feared what the Ram would do to him.

Even though the Ram looked normal, he knew that it was very strong, not because it killed the Hyena with one dash, but because he believed the Ram had a Coward Stance Artefact. That artefact hides the true strength of an individual.

If not, why will he see the Ram as a weak Goat the first time he merged his Island with it. And at the same time, the Ram was smart enough to behave as if scared when it saw the two beasts fighting, until one of them tried to attack it, it did not show it was powerful either.

He sighed and remained sitting in place. If Elias had had a negative thought about killing the Goat when he met it, he was sure to believe that he would be already dead by now. Not just dead, maybe his body would have already decomposed and served as manure to the Island grasses and plants.

Elias was musing when a sweet scent washes over him. He looked at the five fruits that were changing from green to something yellow. Then the Yellow is deepening to a hue of Gold. 

The sweet scent of nature and deliciousness were over the top.

Elias finds himself trembling with acquisitiveness as he really wants one of those. He doesn't know why, but every cell in his body wants him to eat it. He looked at the Ram that was eying him and stood up.

The sand beneath his feet wrote.

<Do not provoke it>

Yet, Elias walked toward the tree, and the head of the Ram followed him. He extended his hand and grabbed one of the fruits, without looking at the Ram he plucked it. He walked back and sat behind his Cursed Chain Chest. 

It was as if he was possessed!

All this time he was trembling out of fear and anxiety. But, he knew danger would accompany everything. If he is not brave enough, then he might never get his hand on anything useful in this magical world.

Zing!

His Wand vibrated.

[Congratulations. You have bravely taken the King's Fruits under the watch of the King. You earn a tattoo of King Might]

[Do you want to materialise the Tatoo?]

"No!" 

He was afraid that Ram would see the tattoo and get angry for that. Added to that, the Island wrote!
