Chapter 1

' I cannot do this anymore', I thought. 'I would have to talk to her about it sooner or later but now should be the perfect time'. I continued thinking while walking down the school's hallways, more like charging down the hallways. I have been hearing rumors about my best friend, Mykayla.

Hmmmmm ... Mykayla, I don't know if she's even a friend, talk less of best friend anymore.

Mykayla is one heck of a friend or should I say used to be a good friend but now after all these, I doubt if we'd even talk anymore. She now just like a stranger to me, someone foreign to me, alien to be precise. Her behavior over the past few weeks have been baffling.

Mykayla became my best friend last year despite transferring to my school two years back. She was placed in my class and I, as the class representative or class captain, had the duty of making her feel welcomed. We only became friends last year after months of being 'hi-and-bye' friends and now, here we are! Besties! How's that even possible!?

Well, a lot of things have happened and we have grown closer from all that to become best friends and people tell us that they wish to have besties as close as we both are.

Unfortunately, things aren't always going to be the way we want them to be.
