Qin Chu had been missing Huo Mian all day; the more he saw her, the more he missed her.

Qin Chu looked at her with puppy-dog eyes.

They chatted for a while longer as she drove towards South Hill Manor; it was 9-something when she arrived.

Huo Mian took a hot shower and then climbed into bed.

She then took out a book, while the maid brought over some fruit and warm milk. The service was impeccable.
