"You're moving out?" Su Yu looked at Huo Mian, his tone as gentle as it always was when he was talking to her.

"Mhm." Huo Mian nodded.

"Can I… give you a ride?"

"Yu!" Mrs. Su exclaimed, dumbfounded by the fact that her son stood on Huo Mian's side.

"Mom… let her go, we've talked about this already. It's not like she can live her for the rest of her life…" Su Yu said, smiling bitterly. Then, he picked up Huo Mian's luggage and proceeded to walk out the front door.

"Hey, what am I supposed to tell your Grandpa?" Mrs. Su asked, feeling bad.

Grandpa Su loved Mian and the twins; ever since she had them, he came home more often than he used to, and he picked up the twins as soon as he took off his shoes.

Grandpa Su spoiled the twins like they were his own granddaughters…

"I'll talk to Grandpa," Su Yu replied.

"Mrs. Su, don't be sad, I'll be back to see you guys. I'm just moving half an hour away…" Huo Mian consoled Mrs. Su.
