What surprised her, however, was that Mrs. Qin investigated into the matter herself. It seemed like she was more rational than she used to be.

"Mom… don't say her name when we're eating, you're going to ruin our appetites," Qin Chu reminded his mother.

Mrs. Qin immediately came back to her senses. "Right, right, let's not talk about her anymore…"
