2 First Love

After the snow slows down, they finally got a chance to step out. Looking outside it seemed so surreal the sky was all blue while the roads were covered with a thick layer of snow, it was as if the whole world was covered with a huge cloud.

Aroma was going to step out but Theo stopped her.

Theo walked out first making big footsteps for her to walk comfortably in her heels, Aroma smiled as Theo waved at her to come she finally steps out on the path he created for her.

Aroma and Theo looked back at Arinya who was still standing there, Aroma waved "Arinya! come on walk on the footsteps"

Arinya looked at the footsteps then looked back at them instead of walking on that path of footsteps, she removed her heels picking them up she put her foot softly on the snow as her foot started sinking in and the sensation of cold snow starts hitting her, it somehow was painful yet peaceful for some reason and slowly she put her another foot on the cold icy stone walking ahead. Some might think of her as crazy to walk on snow barefoot but it was making her feel alive.

Theo felt a bit hurt seeing her walking barefoot on the snow but it wasn't like she will listen to him so he stayed quiet. Aroma didn't say anything as well, they just patiently watched her coming towards them.

Finally, when they all were standing by each other side, Aroma asked "I guess it will snow heavily, do you want us to drop you?"

Though she did know her answer, she still wanted to ask her anyway. As expected Arinya straightforwardly looked at them as she shook her head in denial, "My cab will be here soon"

"Oh, Okay"

For a moment again there was an awkward silence between them, Aroma wanted to say something but she was hesitating but after seeing a cab pulling towards them and Arinya walking away from them.

She suddenly grabbed her hand, Arinya flinched and yank her hand away.

She quickly apologized remembering that Arinya doesn't like people touching her, "Sorry, You must be startled"

Arinya just looked at her, she didn't mean to yank her hand away but it was so sudden. Her eyes met Theo's gaze, she could clearly tell he was clearly worried.

Aroma apologized again and continued "Ah... we.. actually we are having a gathering at our same old place at the downtown. All the club members will be there so I was hoping if you have some free time please join us. Everyone misses you"

Knowing she will say no, Aroma continued again without letting her speak "You don't have to force yourself, Just give it a thought"

Arinya was still hesitating and wanted to reject her right away but her cab driver called her.

Looking at her phone buzzing, Aroma smiled and said softly "Okay, bye Arinya"

Theo who was quiet the whole time waved goodbye from the back but she just looked at Aroma as she said "Bye" in a really low voice that one could possibly hear.

Entering the cab, she didn't even look at them while they watch her leave before heading to their car.

Only when the cab was a little far from them, she leaned her head on the window of the cab she stared at them from the rear mirror. Watching Theo open the car door and making sure Aroma sat down while covering her head from getting hurt. She sighed heavily as the car took a turn leaving them behind she wondered if she is still not over her first love.

She closed her eyes letting herself sink in her thoughts who knew you can also drown in your own thoughts.
