14 Part 3 Yato's view 2

She was all alone in the rain, tears streaked across her face. The wind blew solemnly and the sky grew darker. Although the weather produced a racket, silence enveloped the pitch black park. Irami had lost part of herself. Reality was truly horrific and merciless...

A few days later and I was getting ready for the funeral when I was forced to go with my father for work related reasons. I was brought to a mansion, surrounded by acres of apple trees and outhouse pushed to one side. It was strange to be here but I didn't question it since my father usually took me places to get a check up. He never told me why...

The doctor's hand was cold, the shock sent a shiver down my spine. Those icy fingers then traced along my forehead, resting on my cheek. The doctor, a woman in her thirties, rummaged through her bad with those fatless fingers. Her bony stature resembled that of a skeleton. Maybe she should get a check up instead I joked. At that moment, a needle was jabbed in my arm while neon blue liquid was squeezed into my bloodstream. Horrible pain coursed through my body straining my muscles, my whole body froze...

After that I woke up remembering nothing and was taking home the next day.

When I returned to school I found out Irami had transferred. Guilt churned my insides, not being there at the funeral must have had a negative effect on her.
