13 Part 2 Yato's view 1

SAKURA ARC

I came back to a desk covered in death threats and gum once again. And like every day, I cleaned it away without any complaints. I could always hear the rest of the class laughing, mocking me and always the same girls voice boomed over them all. Her name was Arataka Shinji.

She was the loudest and most obnoxious person on the planet but everyone worshipped her because her day was a CEO of a large company in Tokyo. Whenever I complained to the teachers, it was her demand that led her father to shut the teachers mouths with a fat paycheck.

This girl made me feel all alone. Almost to the point of suicide. But then another girl stepped into the picture. She was sweet, kind, lovable person, a sociable butterfly who spread happiness with her wings. Her name was Irami Tobiichi.

"What are you doing to him!?" Irami demanded as she witnessed me being beaten against a wall in the school corridor.

"Don't interfere you'll just end up like me!" I shouted, desperate for her not to get hurt.

"Shut up." One of Arataka's bodyguards spat at me then walked up to Irami. "Consider yerself a hero, ey?"

"No..."

"I'll show you what we do with little heroes like you!" He punched Irami in the face pushing her to the ground. Everybody stood in shock, silence spreading like a plague. Then a small frightened cry came from Irami's direction. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked pitifully back at the bully.

"Let's get out of here man," One of them said and soon the scuttled away in silence.

Irami wiped her face with a proud look on her face.

"Thank you," I said.

"No problem. What's your name?" Irami asked, her full attention set on me.

"Yato... Kazuma, Yato"

"Well Kazuma, want to join me for dinner?"

With those words I was saved and for the first time I felt a new emotion. Love.

After 9 months of being friends with Irami the bullying stopped but a new problem arose that would change Irami forever. I would lose the Irami I loved.
