Chapter 30 Revelation
Somewhere in the forest a pair of red heads and a raven haired woman can be seen running.
"I thought that Camilla let you go already?" asked by the boy who have a red hair and scarlet eyes.
"I'm not sure myself. I just heard that they can't link me to the Alleyway Murderer so they ask me where they can drop me." answered by the raven haired woman. "I'm sorry I chose the inn your staying its just that I overheard the Knights talking about how the SwordSaints guild gave me up. At that time I'm having second thoughts but after what happened I think its true." she added.
"D-darling are you sure we can trust her?" says by the girl who have a red long hair and scarlet eyes.
"For now, I guess." says by Cleo.
"I promise I will repay this debt in the future." says by Valerie while reaching out to grab Cleo's hand
Leah intercept and grab her hand instead. Valerie was startled for a second but adjust accordingly and continue to look at Leah's eyes to show gratitude.
"Let's keep moving." says by Cleo. "Do you have a place in mind that we can lay low or hide?" he added.
"I have one in mind but its dangerous." answered by Valerie in a worried tone.
"What can be worse than having the entire Royal Guards coming after us?" retort by Cleo.
"I guess you're right and anywhere far away to that bitch Camilla is better." says by Valerie.
"I have a friend in Zirracania Alliance the main road might be dangerous we don't know how far Camilla is willing to go for this pursuit. It might be better to take the outskirts instead albeit its more dangerous because of monsters." explained by Valerie.
After half day of non stop running the trio is starting to feel the fatigue kicking in. They decided to rest and eat, away from the main path.
"You girls sleep first I'll take the first watch." says by Cleo.
The girls proceed to lay down and rest to prepare for the long journey ahead. After the thick forest that separates Lavierre Kingdom and Zirracania Alliance. There is two outer parts before one can reach the first Zirracania Region. Their last pit stop will be at the end of the forest where many Zirracanian adventurers and caravans set up their shop. It is free to setup shop outside the vicinity so its a popular trend with the independent entrepreneurs.
After four hours the trio packed up and erase their tracks to be safe just in case someone is following them. Since Valerie's equipment got confiscated Cleo is planning to at least buy her some basic equipment to defend herself.
"We have 858 gold saved from our previous hunt. So lets stock up before we cross the border." says by Cleo.
"858 gold!? W-where do you get those amount of gold. Are you guys stealing or something?" exclaimed by Valerie. Even she didn't have that amount of gold at once.
"What do you mean? We got this from our hunts." retort by Cleo, feeling confuse on why Valerie is exaggerating on the gold they have.
"Hunts? Y-you guys what level are you right now?" asked by Valerie with trembling voice.
"Lv. 50, why are you over reacting all of a sudden?" answered by Cleo.
"50!? H-how is that possible? Usually it'll take years to level up past Lv. 40."
