Chp-XXVI

Ray woke up next morning only to see that there were messages on his cellphone and guess what it was the messages of Samark. He decided to tease him a bit so he didn't replied him back. After getting freshen up, Ray headed downstairs only to see Asher eating breakfast without him. Actually the thing here is that Asher is angry on Ray as Ray has somehow convinced him to go with him.

"So you are still angry?" asked Ray. Asher didn't give a reply as he was ignoring Ray. Ray took a bowl of cereal and started eating silently. He then look at Asher and said, "Well here I thought that as you will be staying with me I'll be going to cook your favorite pancakes in breakfast every morning but seems like you want to me mad with me so no pancakes."

With that he stood up and headed to kitchen to wash the dishes he was counting in his heart and on the reaching on zero. Asher was standing behind Ray. He said, "See you only told me about this if I didn't get it I'll be super mad at you." Ray turned around with an innocent face and said, "Yes I always keep my word." And he was hugged by Asher who was now more than happy going back to home.

Ray told Asher that he will be visiting the granny. He wanted to see her before leaving back for home. When he reach Grandma's Kitchen, he saw that it was heavily packed like always. He entered therein and was greeted by the staff. Ray completely ignored the stares of the customers who were eating food. He asked someone where granny is? And was told that she is resting upstairs.

Ray headed upstairs and knocked on the door and entered. He saw that granny was getting ready to head downstairs but stopped when she saw Ray. Ray gave a her biggest smile and said, "I wanted to meet you before going back." Granny sit on the chair and motion Ray to sit next to him. She looked at Ray and said, "Though we are not blood related but you've always treated me like your own granny."

"You will send gifts on my birthday, you will ask for your Christmas present before Christmas, you will video call me many times in a month. I've never felt that I only have one grandkid but you are also my grandkid. Remember granny loves you more than you love granny" said Granny. Ray couldn't say anything he just hug her and let tears fall from his eyes. She stood up and walked towards her wardrobe, opened a drawer removed something and came back to Ray.

She made Ray hold a beautiful handkerchief in his hands and said, "This is my gift for you. Don't lose it." Ray nodded and said thank you. She again sat on the chair and said, "I'm old now, I don't know how long will I be alive but I'm happy with my life, I've got great kids and also amazing grandkids. I've seen my happiness and if I go away than I won't be having regret." Ray didn't want to comment anything on this topic so he removed his cellphone and show her a picture.

" Who is he? "asked Granny. Ray blushed and said, "He is my boyfriend Samark." "Omg! You got a boyfriend when did that happen?" asked Granny. Ray gave a smile and said, "It happen some time ago." Come someday with him let "Granny see how the couple of both of you looks!"said Granny. Ray nodded, he hugged her once again and said he will call her when he will be at home. And they both headed downstairs.

When Ray was outside his cellphone suddenly started ringing. He removed it from his pocket only to see an unknown number. He thought who's number will it be and picked up the call. From the other side came a voice, "Hello Ray! This Mrs. Morris can you come to our home please it's really urgent it's Samark's." And Ray heard a voice of someone begging. He couldn't understand what was going on but said, "I'll be reaching there as soon as possible."

After some time he has finally reached the house of Samark's parents. He couldn't get it why cops were standing outside. He doesn't know what has happen which only made him worried. He saw the cops were having a fear look on their face. But Ray opened the door and enter the house. He heard the same begging voice which he has heard on the call and saw Mr and Mrs. Morris standing in a corner.

Ray was searching for Samark and saw that he was sitting on a chair with a belt in his hands. He couldn't understand what was going on until he saw that the guy was getting beaten by Samark. Ray looked at the guy carefully and saw that he is one of the cops. He started walking towards Samark and saw that Samark has noticed him.

Seeing Ray, Samark beat the belt on the floor which shock the guy who was on his knees in front of Samark. Ray than remembered that Mr. Morris has said that Samark's anger is too much to handle. So Ray said in a loud voice, "What has happen? Why is he beating you?" The guy suddenly look at him and said, "Talia attempted suicide last night and she in her suicide note said that it's because of Samark she is committing suicide."

"What! Talia died!" said Ray in shock. The guy was about to say something to Ray when he again got beat from belt. Ray look at Samark and said, "I know you are angry with me too. Hit me too so that your anger calm down." He let Samark do something but saw that their was no reaction.

Suddenly Samark heard a loud slap voice and immediately looked at Ray and saw that he was slapping himself.
