25 Chapter 24: Strange

Rojen's POV

It was the last day of my work today. Well good thing that I gained much money for my bracelet. Just a little bit more then I can claim it.

It was already about a week since Fiona got into a worse incident but I think she's okay now. She still have some bruises though.

"I have to go to work now, Fion. Today's my last day so I think I had to go early so that I can still spare some time with my co workers." I said.

"Yeah. Sure. Take your time. You can just call me if ever you'll get home late. Here's my number." She said.

"I don't think I'll go home late. I still need to accompany you."

"Don't worry about me. I can manage myself. Enjoy this day 'cause for sure you'll gonna miss your co-workers." she said.

"I don't think so. We can still see each other even though we're not in work." I replied.

"Yeah. You have a point."

"Ge! I have to go now. Bye." I waved my hands to her. She did the same way.

"Take care!" She shouted as I got out of her room.

I took a taxi to work. I decided to go there already even though I still have 30 minutes to prepare. I wanted to be as early as I can.

After a couple of minutes, I finally reached Mr. Fij's warehouse. There are already lots of workers waiting on the outside. It was just 7 in the morning so it was still close.

"Good morning." Reech greeted as I walked towards them.

"Good morning." I greeted back.

"You're early today. Usually, you get here on the exact time." Izen said.

"I just wanted to get early. Today's my last day so maybe if I came here early then I can have time to bond with you before I leave." I replied.

"Aww! So sweet of you. Only if I could be a girl then I'll make a move on Rojen right away." Art said and the rest of us laughed.

"I imagined if you could be a girl, you're the only girl I know that has a beard." Reech joked then laughed again.

"Hey! Don't be too harsh to Art." I said.

They just shaked their heads and started laughing again.

I really had great time with them within the ten days being a worker in this warehouse. I think Fiona's right. I'm gonna miss this moment.

After about a couple of minutes while talking and having fun, Mr. Fij and Astro finally came to open the warehouse.

Astro greeted me and I greeted him back. The same way with Art, Reech and Izen.

"Uh! By the way, Argo's coming back today so I think you'll gonna met him." Izen said.

I got nervous because I don't know who Argo was. If what personality he has? Is he kind or just like Temp, the arrogant one.

"Don't worry, Roj. Argo is kind and helpful just like us. For sure if you met him then you can be friends. He was easily to talk to." Reech said as I think he recognized that I felt nervous.

I just nodded to them as a sign of response and smiled.

We worked and worked and worked and worked. It was so tiring that I really wanted to lay down on the bed right now and had some chillin' time.

When I was about to take a sit, I just heard that some of the workers stopped from doing their jobs and I think that they are welcoming someone.

I just found out that Reech called me to go with him. Without any hesitation, I go to them.

"Argo already arrived. Maybe you just wanted to meet him." Izen said. I just nodded as a sign of response and followed them as they started to walk away.

"Argo!" Art shouted.

Then a man with the same height as me and had a pale-tanned skin smiled at him. After that, I just realized that his eyes landed and me and a genuine smile grew on his face. I got goosebumps as I felt something strange.

"Hello guys!" That guy named Argo greeted as he reached us.

"Long time! How's vacation, bruh? Did it went well?" Art asked him. Waiting for Argo's respond.

"It was great and I enjoyed it. " Argo replied.

"By the way, Argo, this is Rojen. The one who placed on your position for a temporary period of time." Izen said.

"So you are Rojen that Astro were talking about. Nice to meet you. I'm Argo." He said and lended his hand to me.

"Nice to meet you too." I shaked hands with him. I didn't know that he was closed with Astro.

"Today's your last day right? If it's okay with you, I can talk to Mr. Fij that he'll hire you for a long period of time. For sure he'll say yes." Argo said.

"No. It's totally fine. I just worked in here to earn money." I replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah! Also, I'm waiting for the endorser to contact me so it was totally fine." I said.

"Mmm. If you say so." Argo replied.

" Then we can still see each other even though you do not work here anymore, right Rojen?" Reech asked.

"Yeah! Why not?" I replied.

Mr. Fij came after our conversation and walked towards us.

"Argo! You're finally back. How's vacation?" Mr. Fij ask.

"It was great, Mr. Fij. I enjoyed my ten day vacation and everything went well." Argo replied.

The four of us just standing behind Argo while he and Mr. Fij are talking. We just kept quiet and hear them having conversation when I heard Mr. Fij stated my name.

"Today's your last day, right Rojen?" Mr. Fij immediately asked. As usual, I had goosebumps and strange feeling while talking to him. I'm still finding out what's the reason.

"Y-yes, Mr. Fij." I replied.

"Maybe you wanted to extend the time of your work here, I won't mind." he said and smiled.

"It's fine, Mr. Fij. I already had plans for these next days."

"Mmm. Okay then I guess I cannot really change your decision." he said.

I just smiled and bowed slightly as a sign of response.

"Ah. I gotta go now. Have a good work." Mr. Fij said and walked away.

"I have to go now too, guys. I still have something to discuss with Mr. Fij." Argo said and everyone just nodded and waved their hands to me.

But I got silent when I noticed something strange in Argo's eyes. There's a glowing red in his retina that made stood silent and in shock.

Does this mean Argo was one of them?
