24 Chapter 23: Worst Nightmare

Fiona's POV

I shouted in pain as he punched me on my stomach. It's excruciating that I felt my whole body numbed because of the pain.

"Let's see what you can do now." He said.

"Let me go!" I shouted.

"What if we don't? Haha." he said and punched me again. The other two touched my hands and stopped me from moving as the other one who punched me and I think their leader started to walk towards me and hold my chin.

"You're strong huh? Let's see what you can do now." He said.

The three of them laughed as they started to touch my body.

"Help! Help! Please help me!" I shouted and cried out loud. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know life could be this worst.

"Even though you cried out for help and shout with all you can, no one can hear you. Because this place was so far to people." The man on my right hand told me and laughed.

"Please. Please don't do this to me. I'm begging you. Please." I said while crying. I have no voice anymore and I can't do anything to stop them.

I tried to escape from them but they were too strong. I keep on shouted even I have no voice anymore until one of them touches my boobs down to my legs.

"Please! Please stop."

I trying to get my hands off of them but I can't. The man in front of me leaned on and sniffed on me like a dog.

"Mmm. Smells great. It makes me turned on." he said.

He keeps on grabbing my boobs until she leaned on the sniffed on my neck again. That's when I've got the chance to kick his balls.

He shouted in pain and the two of them helped him. That's when I've got the chance to ran away.

They are running so fast. Even when I'm in pain, I didn't stoo from running. I did my very best just to get rid of them. I entered lots of ways and narrow places to mislead them.

I kept on running until someone grabbed my hand. I tried to shout but then he covered my mouth and kept my silent. My tears kept rolling on my face when I heard the three of them talking not from the distance. They're planning something about chasing me until I felt that their presence are not there anymore.

"You're safe now." The man in front of me said. He voice and presence are familiar until I realized who it was. I hugged him and cried and his shoulder. That's when I knew I am safe now.

"I'm sorry Rojen. If I was not being over dramatic earlier, all of this things will never gonna hapoen to me." I said, still trembling.

"No. I should be the one who say sorry because I lied to you and kept everything to you." He replied.

He showed me his back and sitted on the floor.

"Come here. I'll give you a piggyback ride." He said. I just stand still, don't know what to do.

"Come on. I won't mind."

I just did what he. I climbed onto his back and let him carry me.

"You're light. Do you really eat everyday? Why does it feels like I'm carrying a bag with just three notebooks?" he said sarcastically.

"Psh. I'm still heavier than that 3 notebook, you freak." I cursed.

"Don't say something like that. Bad words are bad. Well that's why they were called bad words because they're bad." he said in a joking tone.

"Hahaha. Your joke isn't that funny at all." I said, still laughing.

"Then why did you laugh?"

"Because I feel pity for your joke."

"Whatever."

I just laughed and leaned my chin on his shoulder.

"I don't know if I am still alive if I did not escaped from them. I'm so scared earlier." I said and about to cry again.

"Shh. Don't cry. Don't think about it again okay? The important thing is you're safe now and in my hands already. Just like what I promised, I'll protect you." he assured me.

I just nodded and let him carry me until we reached the apartment.

We entered the back gate so that Rojen wouldn't have to change his appearance. He also preferred to do that so I won't wait him to change.

He walked towards my room while he was still carrying me on his back and when we finally entered, he guided me to lay my back on my bed and let me rest.

I winced because of the excruciating pain that I felt when he placed me on my bed.

"I'll just get some first for your wounds." he said.

I just nodded as a response. I still can't get over about the worst nightmare that I experienced just earlier.

I closed my eyes because I felt sleepy until I just felt that someone grabbed my hand so gently and rubbed it with a wet towel.

I looked at Rojen and he was smiling at me.

"I'm sorry for being late. If only I followed you earlier then maybe this incident wouldn't happen to you. I was just thinking that maybe you need time and space to think about everything that happened." He said.

"It was fine. I'm fine. Just don't think about it okay?" I replied.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about Selene. I was just thinking that maybe you won't understand."

"Why? I'm your friend, Roj. I was just gettin' mad earlier because I was thinking why did you hide it from me. You thought me that lying is bad, right?"

"It really wasn't my intention. It's just that-"

"Shh. It's okay. No need to explain. I understand it already. Just promise me that you won't hide anything from me anymore, okay?" I asked and showed him a genuine smile.

"Yeah! I promised." He replied and started to rubbed my body again with wet towel and then he gave me time to change my clothes.

After I changed then he gave me first aid kit.

"I didn't know that you know how to do first aids." I said.

"But you already know that I lived here on earth before." He replied.

I just nodded as I remember it.

After a few minutes, he already finished everything and let me rest.

I just found myself sleeping peacefully without any harm.
