21 Chapter 20: Secret Revealed

Rojen's POV

"Do you have any idea, Mr. Pome?" I continued asking.

"Well, they act like they're an ordinary human. I don't know how to identify them because they're just like us." Mr. Pome replied.

"Oh! Ayt. This was hard and nervousing. I don't want to be like Solitex or the other stars that was killed just to dedicate their bloods." I said.

"How about you come with me, Roj? Maybe I can help you to earn money but not that big. I was just thinking that might to increase your savings." Astro said.

"Anything, Astro. Even though it was just a dollar or something as long as there is, it's a big help for me." I replied.

"Great then let's just finish this meal and I'll take you to where you can get some money." he said.

I just nodded and started eating my food. Mr. Pome came back to his business while Astro and me are silently eating, enjoying our foods.

"Here it is, Roj." Astro said.

He brought me to a place I've never been before. This looks like a warehouse. I mean it was really a warehouse."

"What work do I have to do here?" I asked, still looking at the building.

"It's easy. Just use your strength for this kind of work. It'll also help you to enhance your strength and muscles." he replied.

I just nodded and walk with him as he started walking towards the warehouse.

There are lots of workers here and I think all of them known Astro already because they greeted him.

"It looks like everyone knows you here." I said.

"Yeah. I'm the supervisor here." he replied.

"Eh? Are you sure? You didn't looked like one." I said. Both of my eyebrows meet as I said that.

"Okay, then what work do I have to do then, Mr. Supervisor." I said then chuckled.

"Stop it, I'm not used to called Mr. Supervisor by you." He replied.

I just laughed and he laughed too.

"Uh. Come here. I'll introduce you to some of your co-workers and to the manager." he said.

I nodded as a sign of response and started to walk, following him.

I roamed my eyes to every part of the warehouse as we walked towards an office. It was the office of the manager.

"Hi, Mr. Fij. Good morning." he greeted as we enetered the entrance door.

"Oh! You're there, Astro. Good morning." the manager greeted back.

My attention focused on him and he looked strange into my eyes, or maybe I just didn't get used to someone being in a full black outfit.

"Yeah, by the way, Mr. Fij, this is Rojen. I wanted him to be the temporary replacement for Argo as he was taking his 10 days vacation right now. If you won't mind, I just wanted to help him earn money for a living." Astro said.

"Sure. No problem as long as he has strenth to do the works here. I'm okay with that." He said with a strange smile and expression. But I didn't focus to that. Instead, I'm happy that I got to go to work.

"Thank you, Mr. Fij. Then let me take Rojen to his work." Astro said.

Mr. Fij nodded. I looked at him once again and bowed. We got out of the room and Astro brought me to where I'll work.

"Didn't you felt something about Mr. Fij, Astro?" I asked.

"Nope. What do you mean?"

"I don't know either. When I first saw him, he looked like he's a mysterious one." I said.

"Haha. He's not like that, Roj. I swear, Mr. Fij is a good one and always took care of his workers that's why everyone likes him. I mean to be their manager." he replied.

I just nodded and didn't mutter a word.

"By the way, this is Reech, Izen, Temp and Art." He introduced as we reach the back part of the warehouse.

They greeted and smiled at me except for that one guy whose at the back of them which I think was Temp.

"And this is Rojen. He'll be here just for a temporary replacement for Argo. That wasn't a big deal, right?" said Astro.

"Not at all." Reech replied.

"Then, I'll leave him to you. Teach him all the things that he had to know." Astro said and waved his hands to us as he walked away to work.

I felt a little bit nervous. It was awkward that no one even dared to say a word until Art broke the silence between us.

"Welcome, Roj. Don't be shy. I know that you'll just temporary here but we can still be friends." he said. The others just nodded but Temp kept silent.

"He's just temporary then why do we have tonbe friends with him? He'll leave soon." Temp said.

"Don't be rude, Temp. Instead of being like that, let's welcome him. So what if he had to leave? The important thing is that atleast we know him, ww can still see each other outside." Reech said. Temp just rolled his eyes and walked away.

"Would you mind if I ask why is he being like that?" I asked.

"It's just his personality. Don't mind him. Follow us and we'll teach you." Izen said.

I just nodded and followed them.

They told me that I just had to bring the boxes full of house equipments to the front gate so that the workers there will put the boxes into the truck to deliver.

I thought it was just easy but I think every boxes was approximately weigh 10 kg. It was hard at first but as the time goes by, I got used to it's weight already. I think I have enough muscles now.

My work was done already and it's now 5 pm in the afternoon.

"How's work, Roj?" Astro asked.

"Just fine. But I'm tired. I think I don't have to wait for Fiona to fetch me. I'll just go home first. Please tell Mr. Pome to inform Fiona that I headed back to home already." I said and started walking away.

I heard Astro said something but I didn't tend to hear it because I'm too tired to understand what he had to say.

I rode a taxi heading to Fiona's apartment. I changed my clothes and appearance and wave to Ms. Letty as I entered the front door.

When I am already at the rooftop, I took off the wig and started walking towards the door. The lights are open so I think Fiona was already there.

"Fiona? Open the door ple-"

"Hi there, Rojen."

Shock registered on my face as I saw Selene inside of the room, holding my brief.
