2 Chapter 1: The Shapeshift

"Wh-what are you?" I am still in shock. I still can't believe that I am seeing a star floating in the air. If I have a hypertension then maybe I am already dead now because of high blood pressure and cardiac arrest.

Oh my freakin gosh! Please tell me that I really didn't jump from this building and I became a spirit now. Please if this was a dream, I wanna wake already. I promise not to kill myself again. 😭

"Hi there, Fiona."

"Wh-what? H-how? W-why? AAAAAA!!! " I don't know what to say.

"AAAAAAAA!" I shouted.

"Hey! Fiona. You don't have to shout. your neighbours might hear you." That freakin'little star said.

I didn't know stars can talk. What I know is that they're just floating and sparkling above the sky at night.

"What are you? I mean you're a star but who are you? Why can you speak? What are you doing here? Heck! Maybe I'm dreaming again! Fiona wake up! Please, wake up!" I shouted while slapping my face. "Ouch. that's hurts."

"Easy! I won't harm you." it said.

"You won't harm me but your existence here is enough for me to get a heart attack!" I shouted at it again.

"Isn't that what you want? To die?"

I became silent because of what that thing said. That's true. But that was only before. I regret it now.

"You know what, Fiona, all people was born to face the challenges in life. It helps you to become strong and find a way to survive."

"Yeah, I know. But what i didn't know is that isn't it too much? Like me being useless, liar just like what they said. I feel like i've been experiencing more hardships compared to other people."

"That's why I am here to help you." it said that caught my attention. "The Golden Star sent me here to finish my mission."

"And what mission is that?" I asked out of curiosity.

"To save you. Honestly, We can hear all of people's wishes, Fiona. But not all the time we can grant it because not all wishes people wish was for their own good. Sometimes, they use wishes to revenge on other people and to take advantage of everything. That's why The Golden Star changed the rules and we cannot just grant what you wanted. And I'm sorry for that."

I understand what he was trying to say. But Am I too demanding if I just wanted to have a good and peaceful life?

"In order to grant your wish, you must wish with all your heart. Not just because you wanted to."

I just wanted to be happy.

"Yeah I know."

"Wait, do you know what I am thinking?"

"No. well, yes. But I can only hear what you think because that's what your heart really need." it said. "By the way, I'm Asteroger."

"You stars have names?"

"Yes! All things here in the universe had names."

"Right. But how can I keep you from other people? They can't see you like that or else they'll take advantage of you if ever."

"We stars had enough power to shapeshift into an animal, person or thing."

"Then do it now! What are you waiting for?"

"I have no clothes. You can't see me naked or else your eyes won't get rid of my beautiful body."

"Wow! I didn't know that stars are boastful too."

"Just kidding. I'm just trying to make you laugh but I guess I have to practice more."

Tsk.

"Just wait here. I'll get you clothes."

"Make sure it fits me. Don't give me clothes that only my hands can fit in it."

Whatever.

I entered my room and find the biggest short and shirt that I had.

When I found one then I go back to where that star is. But then he's not there already. I'm looking around to find but I can't.

Now I am wondering maybe I am really dreaming. Am I mentally ill? Please no.

When I was about to leave the rooftop, I heard someone called my name.

"Fiona? Here! throw you're clothes here."

"I thought you're gone." or maybe I thought your not real.

"I am naked. I can't just let you saw my body. No way."

Well, he has a point.

"Make it faster please!"

"Ok!"

I waited for about 5 minutes until he finished taking on those clothes on him. Let's just hope that it fits him.

"Hi Fiona."

I turn around to see if it fits him when I saw a man standing in front of me who looks good, more than what I expected.
