His First Stats Decrease

'I know I am scared to have my wealth point drop but I can't do this anymore. I am scared I might slump and die if I continue running around the street'.

The tired Harry decided to call it quit. He thought all hope was lost until he saw an aged granny with a walking stick struggling to cross the road.

Harry hurried to help her out for fear that the poor old granny will enter the road when it was green.

After helping the granny cross the road, he decided to try his luck.

"Granny, if you wanted to buy foodstuffs then why didn't you send your grandchildren or children? Don't you know it's quite dangerous for you to cross the road alone?" Harry asked handing the black bag containing groceries to the elderly woman. He used that opportunity to hold her hands.

A painful smile appeared on the woman's face after Harry's question. "If a rich bastard didn't run over my granddaughter with his car causing her to be forever crippled, then I wouldn't have to do such trivia things by my son".

Harry for a minute could not say a word after hearing the granny's sad story. " What is your greatest wish granny?" Harry eagerly waited for the woman's response.

He silently prayed that the granny wouldn't mistake him for a psycho just like others.

"If I can see my granddaughter walk again then I will die in peace," the granny said in a sad tone.

[Greatest wish initiated]

The notification Harry was waiting for pops up.

According to the information the system gave, he only needs to touch her hands and the wish will be granted.

The desperate Harry continued grabbing the granny's hands. The screen pops up with the exact notification Harry wanted.

[Greatest wish granted]

[Grant two more greatest wishes to get your reward]

Harry frowned after reading the second notification. He released the granny's hands after he has gotten what he wanted.

'The screen only notified me that her wish has been granted but I don't know if this is true so why don't I confirm how these works?'

Harry, a curious human that he is decides to confirm what his goddamn system can do.

Can it really grants people the greatest wish like it says or is it a scam?

"Let me help carry your load to your house granny," Harry searching for an excuse to make his confirmation, collected the two bags from the granny's hands.

The old woman was against the idea at first but she gave in when Harry kept on insisting.

Harry followed the woman until they reached her house which was an old bungalow.

Not only did the old granny and her granddaughter live in the bungalow but they had neighbours living there also.

Harry followed the woman closely. A few distances from reaching the door of her house, he saw a lady run out of the wooden door.

"Grandma!" She shouted with a broad smile on her face. She embraced the old woman tightly as though she was afraid the elderly woman will run away.

'So she is the crippled granddaughter! But how come she could walk now? How does the system go about fulfilling people's greatest wishes? Is this even possible or is this witchcraft'.

Harry had thousands of questions but there was none to give answers to his question.

He watched as the grandmother and granddaughter duo jubilate. They were so elated that none of them paid attention to him.

Just when he turned to leave, the granny stretched and held his hand. "Young man, I don't know who you are but thank you for your help," Granny said with a grateful heart.

Actually, there was a possibility that her granddaughter would walk again, the doctors told her this.

The problem was the money for the surgery was over a million dollars. She was only a poor old woman, where would she get such a large sum of money?

Right now she had just gotten what was worth over a million dollars for free? How great that is!

Harry smiled at her, "It was a pleasure to offer you my help."

"How about you stay over for dinner and let us entertain~,"

"Sorry, but I have some other place to be right now. I can't spend even five minutes more here," Harry rejected their offer. He still had two more greatest wishes to grant, Harry has no time to waste since he knew what was at stake here.

Now he knows how the system works, he knows that it isn't a scam but as real as him coming back to life with a new identity.

"If that's the case we won't force you," the granny let go of his hand.

"Thank you," both granny and her granddaughter chorused. Harry smiled at them before he turned and left.

He went about asking people for their greatest wish but he wasn't so lucky to meet cool-headed people who believe his words.

Harry sprawl on a white bench he found on the streets. Apart from being famished, he was extremely thirsty.

In this new life, he has all the money the world can ever offer and yet he was acting like a psycho all because of the system.

"Why does no one fucking believe that I can grant their greatest wish? Why?" The exhausted Harry yelled out of frustration.

As if being so exhausted, hungry and thirsty wasn't enough, the notification screen added to his headache.

The notification screen showing a decrease in his stats made the already angry Harry even angrier.

"What is wrong with this goddamn system? I have been running around the entire City like an insane person, won't you give me a break?" Harry shouted in fury. If the system was a human, he would have punched him right in the face for putting him through this.
