He looked as she wiped her tears away making him wonder what was the reason for her tears?

He shook his head and decided to look at the elevator waiting for Mike. He saw the elevator open and a male figure came out but he sighed when he saw it was not Mike. He watched the man freeze when he saw Ashlyn.

Ashlyn stood up and awkwardly pulled her sunglasses off. Conner was stunned at her beauty but when he saw the man embrace Ashlyn he shook his head. He guessed she already had a boyfriend. The man held her cheeks and them.

Ashlyn froze and let her well...ex-boyfriend kiss her. Her emotions were everywhere so she just let Marcos do his thing.

Right now her mind is all over the place and she had just cried. She is desperate. She needs to exit this marriage now!

It's slowly becoming toxic for her to pretend like she is fine. This is why she has all these boyfriends. She is looking for someone that would work together with her and let her detach herself from her father's clutches. At the moment with this marriage she is under her father's watch and she cannot let that go on forever.

She wrapped her arms around Marcos's neck and he pulled her closer by the waist, Ashlyn still felt a bit disgusted. She then remembered her best friend was probably waiting for her to pick her up. She then received a text. Ashlyn immediately got back to reality and pushed him away.

[Babe if you want Marco's back his all yours I left the hotel and went to my parent's house. I had enough fun with him so don't worry wink]

In the end she put a winking emoji. Marcos saw the text and gulped."baby am sorry I did not know anything I swear" Ashlyn sighed."I know my best friend is kind of crazy am sorry we will get through this. Let's start by separating." She informed him coldly.

Conner took a sip of his drink and watched the scene. He felt the girl looked familiar but he later just focused on his drink."Dude isn't that your...cough* w-wife?" Mike questioned.

Conner choked on his drink and started coughing. The bartender there gave him a napkin to which he accepted. He was in the bar of the hotel and Mike saw him so he wanted to scare him but when he saw Conner looking at a couple from far he realized it was Ashlyn.

"She's what?" The shock Conner had received was very uncomfortable. To say he was admiring the love of a couple not knowing it was his wife!

"A-are you sure?"He asked Mike who could not keep his eyes away from the scene."I just saw her this morning it's her." he answered still not moving his eyes from them.

Conner calmed down and signaled the bartender for another drink. The bartender heard their conversation and looked at Conner with sympathy. Mike laughed and decided to explain things to the bartender.

"Don't worry about it they aren't even together, he can't even recognize her it's his fault.''The bartender did an "ah.." and left to attend to other clients. Conner glared at him and Mike snorted."It's true is it not?" Mike placed his gaze back to Ashlyn and Marcos who were still having a conversation. "No wonder she asked when you would divorce her. Guess she has someone in her heart so she wants to get rid of you" He taunted.

Conner gripped the glass of his drink in realization. Even if he did not love her it still made him embarrassed and annoyed. Suddenly Mike smiled and said, "Let's go say hi." Conner did not disagree. He put a twenty dollar bill and placed his hands on his pockets, following behind Mike.

"Ash nice to see you again."

Ashlyn stiffened but didn't let any expression be shown in her face. 'Why should I feel guilty? If Mike reports me as a cheater, this marriage is over! I was about to end it with Marcos here but why not take advantage of this situation? I'm a genius!'

"Oh hey Mike '' She smiled brightly. Surprising both Conner and Mike.
