I Hate You

"How can I make a fresh start with you when you didn't honour our agreement and dared try to kiss me?" Ashley Park shouted at Alex Kim.

"I was distracted when I saw you enter our room after taking a bath. For a moment, I was tempted. It was a mistake. Please forgive me, I have been begging you to let go of it since morning…" Alex gritted his teeth in frustration but he tried to stay calm.

"I can't let it go. Even now, your presence is making me feel suffocated and the thought of you daring to come closer to me, going against our contract is still pissing me off"

Alex was losing his patience, "I have not forgotten that agreement, to be honest I hate you. I was only tempted to kiss you for a moment because of your beauty, but I regret my actions more than you can imagine. Let me make one thing very clear, that I am not interested in you at all. I hate this marriage even more than you do. I am the scapegoat who got struck in this relationship" Alex shouted back at her, blurting out the frustration he was going through.

Ashley was furious when she heard his words, "Excuse me? You think you are the scapegoat? Seriously?"

"Yes, which man in his sane mind would wish to marry a woman like you" Alex didn't hold himself back, and shared his real thoughts with his beautiful wife.

"Hey, what the hell do you mean by 'a woman like me'?"

"A rude, arrogant, stubborn, disrespectful, who is full of herself" Alex responded to her question.

Ashley rolled her eyes at him, "You should consider yourself lucky for being married to me. Forget a rich CEO wife like me, you are not even good enough to find yourself a wife. You are blessed to marry the only heiress of the Park Group of companies, many rich guys were dying to marry me but you were the chosen one."

"Are you sure they are dying to marry you or will die after marrying you?" Alex taunted her and added, "Instead of being married to you I would prefer killing myself. Only because the old man begged me did I agree to this marriage alliance. I am sure nobody else would ever be willing to marry you."

"Oh, really?" Ashley was offended by his words.

"Yes, even though you are rich, beautiful and CEO of a big conglomerate, your attitude is something that people would prefer staying away from you than being married to you."

"My attitude? What is wrong with my attitude? It is perfectly fine. You should rather be thankful for staying married to me" Ashley scoffed at him.

"Thankful? Seriously?" Alex questioned her unbelievably, he destroyed his life by marrying her and she was asking him to be thankful instead.

"Of course, If you have not been married to me then by now you would have been begging on the streets, you good for nothing, middle-class man." Ashley insulted him and added, "You have no class. Honestly, you are not even good enough to be my friend forget being a husband and yet we Parks gave you a high status in this society, your family is now leading a better life than before because of us. We gave a luxurious house to your parents and now your sister got admission in a reputed medical college as we paid the money for it. Or else you people only deserve to stay on the street with beggers." Ashley insulted him so much, Alex really wished to die at that moment. She was not wrong, his family was indeed in a financial crisis but it wasn't as bad as them being beggars on the street as he landed a job in the Park Group of Companies.

The day which he thought would finally be the luckiest day of his life, turned out to be the unluckiest day of his life as he ended up here.
