Jealousy and Pain

Earlier, I was watching the dancers in the grand hall.

Sweetie took me to our table when we finished dancing.  He just talked to a guest who is one of the partners of the V-club.  I sat alone at our table while watching.

I smiled when I saw the twins dancing with Kida.  Kida is dancing smoothly. She was a good dancer, I think.

I turned my attention in one direction when I found my husband talking to a beautiful woman.

Suddenly my forehead furrowed in astonishment.

I ignored what I saw, but I was looking in their direction again when the woman's arm suddenly slid into Cedrick's arm.

I was about to get up when suddenly something stopped me.

I just watched Kersten and David dancing and Medel and Deigo.  I was shaken when I saw how sweet they were to each other while dancing.

I try to turn my attention to others, but I also try to look in the direction of Cedrick and the woman.

Suddenly I stood up, and I could no longer restrain myself.  So I walked in the direction of the two of them.

"Sweetie?"  I called Cedrick's attention.  So the woman stopped speaking and turned to me.

Cedrick immediately turned to me, and he did not react when he saw me.  He even smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

"Sweetie, I'm sorry it took me so long to talk to Mr. Quen. He even introduced his daughter to me."  Cedrick apologized.

I immediately nodded and turned to the woman in front of us, who was already pale.  She looks like they may be scared of the look I give her.

That way, she should be afraid of me.

"This is her, sweetie. Fati Quen, daughter of Mr. Quen. Fati, my wife, Ena Marquez-Villaurel." Sweetie added, and at the same time, he introduced me to Fati. 

"Nice to meet you, Miss Ena Villaurel,"  she said to me all at once with her hand while smiling kindly.

"Me too."  I gave her a short reply before I accepted her hand which was outstretched to me.  Fati seemed embarrassed by the kind of stare I had on her.

"So, what were you talking about? Ms. Fati?" I raised an eyebrow at her, while my arms crossed.

"Sweetie? What ---" Cedrick replied, but I immediately stopped him by waving my hand.

"Ms. Ena?"  This question was asked to me lightly as her eyes could not look at me.

"I'm asking you, Miss Fati. What are you and my husband talking about, you are completely attached to him."  I kept asking her questions as I forced myself not to explode with the jealousy I was feeling.

"Sweetie, we're just talking about their business deal--"

"No, I'm asking you, Cedrick Villaurel… so shut up there."  I threatened him.

I turned to the woman again and waited for her answer.  I even saw him swallow first before answering.

"Ahm, we're just talking about our company and your company."

I nodded because her answer did not convince me.

"Do you know, Miss Fati Quen...Am I a tough opponent in the company? Especially when I get angry?"  By now, I'm sure she'll feel my anger.

Even sweetie, he was already held in my arms to stop me.

"I know, doing business with others. No one touching, no flirting, and disgusting scenes, right? So why, do you do those things with my husband, Ms. Fati Quen?"  I can keep asking the woman.

But before she could answer my question, Cedrick pulled me away.

He took me to the back of the grand hall, and there he shouted at me.

"What's happening, sweetie ?! Why did you talk to Fati like that? She's not doing anything bad to you! This is bullish*t!"

Suddenly everyone around me shook when I heard him shout bad words at me.

Suddenly my vision darkened, so I shouted at him too.

"Why ?! Do you like her caressing you? Is she hanging on you? So you let go ?! Ha ?!"

"What? Are you jealous ?!"

"Yes! I'm jealous!"

"My god, sweetie! Stop acting like that! You're old! You're not young anymore! We're not doing anything wrong! And stop being jealous of yourself! That's where the trouble starts, eh!"

"I'm sorry if I thought I was a child in your eyes. I'm sad because I'm not like that woman who is strong in caressing you! I'm sad because I'm just like this! I always hurt you! I'm sorry!  "

I could not stop my tears from flowing, so I wept over the pain I felt in my heart.

"All right, I'm going to stop being jealous. So I hope you understand why I'm jealous because I love you! I'm jealous because I don't want you to like anyone else besides me!"  I said, pushing him and running out of the grand hall.

Visitors look at me, but I don't care as long as I can leave here now…

When I saw the twins and Kida, I called them and took them to the parking lot where our car was.

"Mommy, why are you crying?"  Rick asked me in surprise.  I touched his cheek and kissed it.

"No, mommy just wanted to go home. So I have tears in my eyes."  I smiled, explaining to him.

I looked at Kida, "Kida, you take care of the twins. 'Don't leave them alone. Go home. I'm just going somewhere. I need to be alone right now."

Kida nodded, then held the twin's hand tightly.  "I'll take care of them."

I looked at the twins and then hugged them tightly.  "I love you so much, children. Go home first; Yaya Kida will take care of you first, huh?"

"Yes, mommy! We love you too! Be careful!"  They smiled in response to me.  I hugged them again and kissed their cheeks before I got in my car to get out of that place.

I cried; I remember again what Cedrick told me earlier.  I just shook my head. 

The pain of hearing that from him, why did he react like that before?

Maybe it's also my fault that I did not ask before I slapped the woman like that.

In the middle of my mind.  Suddenly my eyes widened when I saw that I was going to meet a big truck.  I tried to turn my car around, but it was too late.

The last thing I saw was the big smile of Cedrick and my two twins and my family.
