45 Lolita (3)

I glanced back into the courtyard only to see Veronica's body fall limp as her head rolled into the grass. I looked away.

"Don't turn away from her demise for it can be your blessing to reveal her truth," she said in a sweet tune. I squinted my eyes as she giggled. She turned on her heels and walked towards the same young man I seen in the field the other day.

She grabbed his hand with her slender fingers and walked down the corridor disappearing into thin air. I looked around the corridor to see the silhouette of the woman who was with Naylie.

She walked down the corridor with her long white hair swaying behind her with her eyes closed. She walked up to the window and placed her hand on the glass facing the gallows.

"Such an unfortunate outcome, however you will be of great use to me young lady," She slightly whispered. She turned on her heels and walked down the hallway giggling before disappearing into the shadows.

I felt somebody shaking me vigorously.

"Ty!" somebody screamed while lightly smacking my face. I slowly opened my eyes to see Alex staring me in the face.

"Good god Ty," she said breathing a sigh of relief, "I walked in to wake you up and find you on the floor passed out and barely breathing." She slowly stood up with a pale face. "you scared the good heavens out of me just now," she said sighing, "stay home from school I don't want you passing out again." I stood up and nodded my head.

I agreed for I needed to sort my thoughts I couldn't make heads or tails of my situation anymore. "good," she sighed as she walked out of the room and into her own.

I closed the door and laid on the bed. Several minutes later Alex yelled she was leaving. I heard the front door close. "I thought she'll never leave," joked a familiar voice. I sighed and turned over as she jumped onto my bed. "not going to school huh Mr. Bad boy," joked Veronica.

"I wouldn't say that," said Naylie as she rose through the floor in front of me. I grabbed Naylie by the arm and pulled her into a warm embrace. She shrieked as she stumbled onto the bed. I nestled my head into her shoulder as she giggled.

"Get a room," said Veronica in disgust.

"You're in it so get out," I barked back. Naylie giggled again.
