(five minutes later)

Nick's mum: she's so pretty. Nick why didn't you show me her earlier

Nick: mom I don't know if she was ready for this

Ashland:hello ma'am

Nick's mum:no need to be so formal

Nick: you ready for this Ashland

Ashland:more ready than I'll ever be

Nick's mum: then let's do this

(seconds later)

Nick: ASHLAND!!

(Ashland falls to the ground)

em: ASHLAND!!?!!

Nick's mum: GET THE PACK'S DOCTOR

Nick:Yes mum

(one minute later)

Doctor: she'll be fine just let her rest for night

Nick's mum & Nick: thank you doc

em is crying by Ashland's numb body

nick walks over to em

Nick: she's going to be fine em just let her rest

em: can I stay here tonight

Nick: sure just don't bother her

em:I won't

Nick:good

Nick's mum: this might take a while for her to heal but she'll be fine

Nick:I know mum

Ashland:(quietly)em, nick?

Nick and his mom look at Ashland sitting up

em is helping her up over to nick but Nick picks Ashland up and puts her back on the bed

Ashland:my head hurts nick

Nick: it's going to

Nick's mum: your going to hurt for a while

Ashland: what do you mean

Nick's mum: Nevermind that for now and rest
