10 CHAPTER TEN (10) Capabilities

. Su Yuanqi shrugged it off with a light smile on his lips, "Let's order something to eat."

"You won't let her off, right?" Baozhai asked, the thought of losing their restaurant to that girl everyone fancied was annoying her, thankfully, her boss wasn't a fan of her!

"We can settle this amicably, you know that right?" Changsu turned to ask Baozhai.

"I don't think you're sane anymore." Shen didn't think he could keep his cool character in check for long. Why was Changsu being so protective of her?

"Nothing is going to come out of fighting her," Changsu's statement made sense but Baozhai and Shen really wants to fight. "By the time you two realize this, it might already be too late! Don't push our boss into trouble..."

"She asked for it first." Baozhai stated.

"And that she will receive!" Shen supported.

Changsu shook his head. "You two are..." he paused to take a deep breath, and clenched his teeth, they were fighting right in front of their boss! They weren't showing respect.

Su Yuanqi sat there, not saying anything. He didn't want it to seem like he was supporting Baozhai and Shen, Changsu wasn't one to be easily convinced to do otherwise, so why join the argument? He would let them find out on their own.

"Listen to me sir," Changsu said with all seriousness. "Don't fight her, just sort it out..."

Shen and Baozhai awaited Su Yuanqi's reply but it seemed like he was taking his time.

Su Yuanqi opened his mouth to say something and he saw their ears stand, he almost laughed. "Let's order something first, I'm hungry."

Baozhai was drained off her last energy, "Sir, you aren't saying anything..." she trailed off.

"I suggest you, drink some water and mind your business." Changsu picked his glass of water and gulped it down.

Baozhai eyed him. She really had a lot to say but why would she continue to when her boss wasn't giving her a reason to.

They called for the waiter, the waiter left and after some minutes returned with their order.

Baozhai was first to make a comment about the food bland taste and received a glare from Changsu.

"You were just as bad." Changsu didn't like her guts, it provoked him. When she joined Urban Remedy, she was a whole mess and instead of focusing on her work, she was focusing more on getting their boss.

"Mind your business, Su!" Baozhai warned.

"You'd do great by shutting your mouth while eating."

"Haha," Su Yuanqi's sudden laughter surprised the three. "Why do you two have to argue over everything?"

"It's Changsu, he's in everyone's business."

"No, you're the one that needs to learn to stop hating on your fellow human."

Baozhai was taken aback, "What exactly do you mean by that?"

"You have the best answer to that." With that said, Changsu gobbled down his food, ignoring the angry eyes Baozhai was shooting at him.

Silence reigned until Changsu had, had his full.

"Are you enjoying it?" He bent his head to ask Yuanqi.

"Yes,"

"Haha, now I have more strength to talk." He took out his phone to search for the latest news, and what he saw shocked him.

"YOU SUED, MISS ROSE?" Changsu's eyes were almost out of their sockets. The restaurant had been empty earlier before but more people had come now, and they turned to their table.

"You found out," Su Yuanqi's reply only made Changsu sad.

"Why though?" He almost had tears falling from his eyes.

Baozhai stretched her neck so she could see Changsu's phone but the latter, hid it under the table. She ended up sneering at him. She took out her own phone to search for it. She didn't have to stress as it was the headline.

"This is such a wonderful news!" Baozhai blushed, "Boss you did great." She grabbed his hand and was about to kiss it when Changsu angrily pushed her by the shoulder.

"Stop it!" Changsu would never give her chance to go close to their boss! She didn't care about him, it was so obvious! Their boss had suffered a lot to get to where he was today, went through many hardships! Not just everyone deserved to be with him.

Baozhai didn't let it bother her for long, she went to read comments. She wasn't expecting people to support their boss, so she kept her hopes in check.

Shen also knew about Baozhai's feelings for their boss, but he couldn't explain why Changsu was so against it.

"Chill out," Shen said directly to Changsu.

"Sir," Changsu's voice was so low that his colleagues nearly missed it. He ignored Shen, there was much more important things to do. "Who's your lawyer?"

"Xiong Delun." Su Yuanqi answered.

Changsu thought for a while. "Mr Delun is great but... We need to plan our moves well, I think it would be much better if you withdrew it though... just saying."

"This is my decision," Su Yuanqi stated. "And it's either you're against me or with me."

Baozhai alongside Shen raised their head up, they needed to see Changsu's facial expression.

Changsu nodded twice, bit his lower lip and opened his mouth to speak. "I'll always stand by you."

"Uhhh." Shen made low cheering sound. "You're smart."

Baozhai tapped him on his shoulder and Changsu flipped around to glare at her. "Stop touching me!"

"Yeah, whatever." Baozhai giggled.

Su Yuanqi relaxed into his chair, "The first court hearing is on Wednesday, by 10am."

"We will be there!" Baozhai assured him.

Changsu was nervous, scared of whatever the outcome would be.

In an office lobby, a lady stood there waiting for someone, she wore a black pair of trouser, with black turtleneck and brown leather blazer, a ten centimeter black stilettos to match.

A gentleman clad in black suit matched up to her and with a hand shake they introduced each other.

"Xiong Delun,"

"An Ruolan."

Xiong Delun smiled, "It's an honor that we will get to tough it out in court one on one."

"Do you stand a chance?" Grace cocked an eyebrow. "I've heard a lot about you, anyways so maybe."

Xiong Delun wanted to laugh. He was well known, just as she was also, she took over her father and gained fame, but she didn't work on favors, she was capable, her knew that but she was doubting his own capabilities.

"It's an honor to be recognized by someone like you." Arguments were for ladies, he was there to discuss business.

"To my office then," Grace said and led the way.
