CHAPTER SIX (6) True Love

Xiong Delun sat opposite Su Yuanqi and tried his best not to chuckle as Yuanqi narrated his day to him. "You mean she's a badass?"

"She's no badass. She's just one wicked wealthy lady," Su Yuanqi rolled his eyes. He thought that the pain he felt would ease away but he was wrong. It was still hurting like he had just been kicked.

She had kicked him mercilessly with those black boots. Whenever her face came to his mind, it was that angry look she had directed at him. Her angry hiss and then the smile that seemed to mock him.

Xiong Delun chuckled loudly as he could no longer hold it in. And in return he received a glare from Su Yuanqi.

"I'm so sorry. What were you thinking when you went to find her though?" Delun questioned. "And from your point of view, you had been rude."

"Really?" Su Yuanqi sounded betrayed. "You're supporting her?"

"No way," Xiong Delun waved his right hand about. "I'm always with you just that it sounds funny that the young Miss from the Chen family was able to send a strong man like you down to the ground."

"She had attacked me unaware,"

"That's not enough excuse." Xiong Delun poured himself a glass of beer and downed it. "You should be ashamed saying you want to sue her."

"And why should I?" Yuanqi asked with a little bit of anger in his tone. "She destroyed my property,"

"It's not yours, don't get it twisted."

"I ask again, are you against me or with me?"

"Hello you two," a very familiar voice said and the two turned.

"We've been waiting," Delun was the first to speak.

"I'm sorry for that." Zhu Zemin apologized. "I had a last minute surgery. So what is it about your store been demolished?"

"It's not been demolished, it's been reconstructed." Delun corrected.

"Shut up man!" Yuanqi yelled.

Zemin stared at him in shock. "Easy man, what is your problem?"

"He was kicked in the stomach and he's having mood swings or so." Delun took a gulp from his glass.

"Kicked in the stomach?" Zemin frowned.

"Yes, by Rose." Yuanqi said.

"That's some guts," Delun pointed at Yuanqi. "Miss Chen,"

"Do I even care?" Yuanqi used his left hand to press onto his stomach.

"Okay, why did you call this meeting?" Zemin questioned.

"I'll need you two to help me, I want to sue her. For destruction of property."

Zemin and Delun shared a look.

"Okay, how's your stomach?" Zemin asked.

"Still hurting a lot," Yuanqi winced.

"I wonder how you will face her in court when you couldn't with only you two and her secretary." Delun raised a brow.

Zemin supressed a laugh. "We will go together to go get medication. You shouldn't take any alcohol, it might keep you from having a sleep tonight."

"Thanks, it's much better talking to you than Delun." Yuanqi glared at Delun.

Delun glared back before chuckling hard. "You need someone telling you the truth. You just can't sue Miss Chen, she's the owner of the property. Wait, do you want to become the country's enemy? No one goes against the Chen's... I mean, she's the nation's wife."

"I will!" Yuanqi was determined to make that lady pay. Or at least put her in her place. "Nation's wife or not."

"Chill out Bro," Zemin patted his friend. "Let's talk about something else."

"Not until Delun agrees to represent me in court," That was why he had called them in the first place so why would he discuss something else?

Delun now had the two young men looking at him to say something. He scratched his forehead. "Okay, fine. I'll write to the higher ups tomorrow, once I have them on my side in case of any failure then I'd boldly defend you in court."

"Never knew you needed one." Yuanqi mocked.

"Don't get me started," Delun angrily said. "You're not having beer because a woman had sent her leg flying into your stomach..."

"Alright that's enough." Zemin said to the two and watched them relax into their seats.

"I don't even know what you are planning on doing on that new land." Xu Dandan frowned.

"Like I said, you know nothing but food." Rose continued with the sketch on her iPad. It was the sketch of the new building she planned on replacing with that old thing that young man was killing himself for. She smiled, satisfied at her work.

They were currently on their way home as her parents were already waiting for her.

The car came to a standstill as there was traffic.

Rose looked out the window, she wound down the glass and fresh air immediately filled the car. Making her smile. And just then she saw three young men come out from a bar, she recognized one. Su Yuanqi.

"He looks great, smiling so heartily."

"Did you say something?" Xu Dandan turned to the back.

"No," had she said that out aloud?

The car started moving again. And soon she could no longer see the three.

Soon the car made a stop at a well lit up mansion. Guards surrounded it with Ak47 hanging around their neck and pointed out in case of any possible dangers.

The big gates opened to let the car in. Rose got down from the car and saw her parents, both wearing thick clothes and holding hands waiting for her. This was the type of love she wanted. True love. The two were inseparable.

They spread their hands and she ran straight into it hugging the two tightly.

"I missed you two so much," she made low cries as her hands around the two tightened.

"We missed you too, my darling," She heard her mother say.

"Yes my dear," her father supported.

Xu Dandan watched the three and felt her heart melt from sweetness.

He Duyi opened a can of beer, "Do you mind?"

Xu Dandan shook her head without turning to look at him.

They were both standing in front of the car as they watched their boss melt into her parents arms.

"Let's go in, I prepared you something delicious." Her mother said.

"No mom, no cooking! You just returned from a long time treatment and needs all the possible rest you can think of. I don't want you anywhere near the kitchen."

"Yes ma'am," Mrs Chen said while her husband chuckled.

"Invite your secretary and driver in. I wish I was strong enough to prepare lots more for the guards too." Mrs Chen said.

Rose turned to signal Dandan and Duyi to enter
