"My skillset look convince but why Map and Devine Arts level error?"

"Why my stats points dropped, even my INT Became 0 and speaking of my abilities, what exactly was it suppose to do?"

"Wow.. damn too many questions lingering inside my head. Skillset error, weapons blue film and what's is going on to the world"

Few days earlier, this time after he survive completing his first mission, Kiba was looking for a weapon of sorts between rumbles while hiding from vicious men eating monsters. It was pretty dangerous around opens spaces, so he needed something to protect himself. Plus, the he was pretty far from his home, and he doubted he could make it there without stumbling into a monsters.

After pondering for a while he decide to go arming himself with pipe near him and look for provisions. He haven't ate breakfast and right now his stomach crumblings.

*Ting* // sound like notification alarm

Kiba stumble on familiar sound. It's like smartphone ringing notification alarm. Somewhat a default of any android smartphone ringing tone. Blue tint film appears before his eyes.

-----------

Pipe rod (equipped)

A good for nothing pipe lying around. It's not much of a weapon.

Damage: 4 - 7

Durability: 7/9

-----------

According to the screen, it said something along the lines of "equipped items". That really didn't make much sense. So much a like RPG games, if this was any normal situation, he would have been at a lose as for what to do next. But luckily, this situation wasn't normal, and the rpg-esque scenario gave him some semblance of familiarity.

Nevertheless, a weapon was a weapon, and stats were stats. He hold the pipe firmly, squatting slowly approach nearest store. The convenience store damaged, scattered rumbles and pebbles around but the alleys racks fills with goods. Kiba snipped throughout the window pondering where it's safe or not to go in. He saw there were a monster lying on the ground crushed by shelves in its pools of blood. His nape hair stood up by what he saw, it's looks creepy and scary. Kiba notice the monster tail wiggle lifelessly.

"Hmm... this monster looks dying, this the only opportunity for me to kill it's before it's call for help but ..." Kiba still pondering where the he can afford to kill the monster with this plain looking pipe in his arm. He need to sharpen the pipe so the monster will die by piercing the iron rod pipe on the head. Kiba walked slowly to the quiet hallway next to the store and rummaged around the pebbles some more. He rummaged around the store and he found himself a incapacitated human male corpse in puddles of blood while holding kitchen knife 🔪. The were life threaten battle happen before. He been butchered by monster horrified. Kiba pry in his heart the fallen fellow and pick up the knife. Blue tint film appears before his eyes.

-----------

Chipped Kitchen Knife (equipped)

A chipped knife can be a real bummer . It's not much of a weapon. It's will scattered after used.

Damage: 2 - 10

Durability: 2/9

-----------

He really didn't have many options. He didn't quite know for sure, but there was a high chance that the knife will be broken after used.

"What should I do to maximize the damage to kill that monster. It's a bit risky what's if the monster clawed me out of nowhere. I need to modified this knife with this iron rod pipe"

He sudden have inspiration to attached the knife with the pipe to make a spear. He will impaled direct to the monster skull.

"What I need right now were something to band it's together" while looking around for something useful to tied it up. Kiba scan his surroundings for any rope or any strong enough string to make d.i.y¹ spear. He once again focused on the absurdity of this event. Before long, his mind shifted towards his recent discovery. The smearing blood clothes on the corpse were good enough to tie up kitchen knife with iron pipe. He put in together his hand and pry to hopeless corpse to avoid hounted by bad luck or misfortune. He take the clothes tied its up as strong as he can. He put the corpse lying at a side to respect the dead and found a mysterious black box.

"Hey this the black block that 'God' give to everyone" Kiba said while he open the box and pick up the stone. A sudden flash lights and the stone dispersed absorb into his hand.

*Ting* // sound like notification alarm

[Congratulations You have learn Critical Strike]

Skill: [ F: Critical Strike ]

"Ooh.. new grade F skill Critical Strike. Grade F skill mean it's has low probability to be triggered and end up like this unlucky fellow lying lifeless here. If it were something more orthodox like super strength or telekinesis even fire ball would be good, then I could have immediately confirmed to kill that monster easily"

It was tough coming up with an on the spot solution like this. But this brings up a whole nothere slew of problems. How exactly were he going to kill that monsters? How high was our level gap?

He sighed.

No, I had another plan. I was going to bet on the flimsy gamble that monsters might realty dead with one stroke and that if I was lucky, they would drop a thing or two like in RPG's and in order to hunt down monsters, I have this spear and skillset.

"Ah, no, I'll be the one who goes out to survive" Kiba confirmed.

Sometime's being a man means you have to stand up when people are in trouble but situation changes people.

"I'll survive" told Kiba to himself to firm up his confidence.

It was troublesome that he have no real experience in fighting or handling weapons but guess it can't be helped. Besides, he sure there are ways to boost it up in the future.

After confirming his pseudo plan, Kiba went about the store in an effort to waste that thirty minutes preparation. Kiba sneakily walk in towards his direction as he flashed what he thought would be nice if he can kill the monster by one powerful strike and level up lots. A reassuring smile flash as he became closer to the store.
